    The Mets were very active in the days leading up to, and on the day of the trading deadline. Max Scherzer and Justin Verlander are no longer apart of the organization. The Mets also traded Mark Cahna, Tommy Pham, David Robertson, and Domonic Leone. The Mets have been able to reshape their farm system, which has a much brighter outlook today.

The Mets picked up top 100 prospect, Luisangel Acuna, brother of Ronald Acuna in the trade with Texas. Many have said that Acuna will slot in as the Mets top prospect.
