    2023/12/21
Hey there, bblvk jewels! We've got a gem from the past for you. This episode, shot live years ago, has been tucked away in our safe. Now, it's time to dust it off and share this treasure. This episode's spotlight is on Dr. Timothy Owens Moore, who is quite the sensation! 🎓 He's a physiological psychologist with an enviable academic journey that took him from Lincoln to Howard University. For over two decades, he's juggled various roles - as a professor, researcher, activist, and scholar. He's been spreading his wealth of knowledge across Morehouse College, Clark Atlanta University, and Fayetteville State University. Quite the academic trailblazer, wouldn't you say? 🧠 And what's his area of expertise, you ask? It's Neuroscience and African Center psychology. Moreover, he co-founded the Neuroscience Institute at Morehouse School of Medicine and a key contributor to the National Science Foundation-funded Center for Behavioral Neuroscience. How amazing is that! 🧪 Dr. Moore isn't just about theories; he's all about practical research. His revolutionary work on the impact of hormones and neuropeptides on rodent social behavior is backed by federal and private grants. And here's the icing on the cake - he's a 2009 US Fulbright Scholar. Now that's pretty cool, right? 😎 But there's more to Dr. Moore than meets the eye. As a social activist, he's earned international recognition. He's taught and conducted research on four continents and the Caribbean islands, leaving a significant mark, especially in Salvador, Brazil. 🌍 And if you thought that was all, you're in for a surprise! He's authored several books, runs a popular blog, hosts an engaging radio show, and has just launched a book on melanin in science and health. And guess what? He's currently working on two more manuscripts. 📚 So, are you ready to join us in today's discussion about the Bblvk Melanin and Rhythm with Dr. Moore today? Let's dive in! #PhysiologicalPsychologist #Neuroscience #Activist #Scholar #Educator #Author #DrMoore #podcast #bblvkjewel #melanin #rhythm
