  • Bob Berney is an American producer who has a track record for success with his associated films grossing over $1 billion in U.S. Box Office revenue since 2000. A creative with an eye for selecting unconventional films with the potential to appeal to greater audiences, he has proven to be a wise producer, acquisitioner, marketer and distributor. While working with IFC Films, he marketed “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” and “Y Tu Mamá También.” As a distribution consultant, he was instrumental in the release of Christopher Nolan’s “Memento.” Until this summer he acted as head of theatrical distribution and marketing for Amazon Studios, releasing “The Big Sick,” “Cold War,” Mindy Kaling’s “Late Night” and the first streamer film nominated for best picture: “Manchester by the Sea.”
