  • The Masks We Wear
    2024/10/31

Send us a Text- Share 1 Take away from this episode! (Note: we are unable to reply to your messages.)

Do you ever feel like you're pretending, hiding parts of yourself to fit in, or shielding your true self from the world? 🎭

In this episode, we explore the masks we wear—those layers of armor that keep us safe but also keep us disconnected from our true selves. Join me as I share some of my thoughts about vulnerability and the courage it takes to show up as your true self even when it feels uncomfortable. I'll share my own journey of taking off the mask and the freedom that comes with stepping into authenticity.

Some Tips for Letting Go of Other's Opinions and Embracing Your Authentic Self:

    • Practice Self-Compassion: Be kind to yourself. Realize that everyone has flaws and makes mistakes. Treat yourself as you would a dear friend—with patience and understanding.
    • Challenge Negative Thoughts: When you catch yourself worrying about others’ opinions, ask if these thoughts are based on facts or assumptions. Often, it's your mind projecting fear rather than reality.
    • Stay Present: Practice mindfulness to ground yourself in the present moment.
    • Surround Yourself with Supportive People: Spend time with those who uplift and accept you as you are. Positive relationships make it easier to dismiss negativity.
    • Focus on Your Journey: Comparing yourself to others is unproductive; instead, recognize and appreciate your own growth and experiences.

Your Dare for the Week ❤️

For your dare this week, I dare you to unmask yourself.

    1. Step one: Take a piece of paper and draw a face on the front. Then within that picture of the face, write down the words that describe you, that everyone sees or write down qualities others have deemed you in the past.

    2. Step two: Flip it over, to focus on what's behind that mask and write down what people don't know about you. Write down what you wish others knew about you and don't see.

Then dare to slowly, take baby steps towards showing the world the other side of the mask. Reveal to the world, who you truly are. The world doesn't need the version of you you think it wants. It needs the real you!

  • Have You Missed The Mark?
    2024/10/10

Send us a Text- Share 1 Take away from this episode! (Note: we are unable to reply to your messages.)

As we enter a new season, what are some of the questions that you’re asking yourself? 🍂💭

Fall is known to be a time of reflection and renewal, this episode I invite you to explore where you might have fallen short, not with harsh judgement, but with compassion.❤️ Today’s episode is very short, showing us all that we can achieve something amazing in just a short period of time!

    Your Reminder this Week

Be patient, kind and non-judgemental to yourself. We are all humans, and we make mistakes. What’s important is that you grow and learn from the things you wish you could change and move forward with intention and purpose.

Your Dare for the Week ❤️
❓Ask yourself...Where might I have missed the mark? Consider in your life, in your work, in your relationships, in the world at large.

Write the answers down, then in a safe space, burn them as a symbolic way of releasing them. And if you've missed a mark with someone that you truly care about, and it makes you feel badly about it, just consider reaching out to them and expressing some simple gratitude
