    Cutkelvin earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas Southern University and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy. He is the Executive Director of the Belizean Education Empowerment Foundation (a.k.a. B.E.E.F.). The Belizean Education Empowerment Foundation was founded in July of 2017 in response to the education gaps within the Belizean education system. BEEF is committed to providing resources, empirical research, and services to Belizean citizens across the world.

    EVITA ROBBINSON

    In September 2011, Evita Turquoise Robinson created the NOMADNESS Travel Tribe, an online social community primarily for travelers of color. NOMADNESS was the first of its kind targeting black and brown millennials, in the newly coined 'black travel movement'. The group currently surpasses 25,000 international members, with over thirty regional Ambassadors.

    From the success of the online group, Evita has garnered partnerships with top brands and destinations around the world. This includes Issa Rae, who she Co- Executive Produces The NOMADNESS Project web series with on YouTube.

    In 2018, NOMADNESS Travel Tribe hosted their first festival for black and brown travelers, and our allies. AUDACITY Fest is an immersive experience that celebrates and creates a safe space for discussions centered around traveling the world as a person of color. The physical festival has taken place in Oakland, Ca.; Memphis, Tn., and in 2020 pivoted into a quarterly, highly curated online experience.

    Evita’s accolades include National Geographic’s 21 Most Visionary Women Throughout Travel History, AFAR Travel Vanguard Award recipient, The Root 100, and being noted as one of Entrepreneur Magazine’s 50 Most Daring Entrepreneurs of 2018. Evita was also invited to the White House under the Obama Administration for their meeting of world's creative change makers, for SXSL (South By South Lawn).

    She now serves as a Contributing Editor of CondeNast Traveler Magazine,  keynote speaker, media personality, TED Resident, consultant for Destination Marketing Organizations, and continues her love of seeing the world while writing her first book and developing her own travel television series.

    While a student at the University of Texas at Austin, Fatoumata and her friends questioned how they could use their privilege as college students to make the world a better place. Born in Guinea, West Africa, Fatoumata had a deep understanding of the way "period poverty" negatively impacted girls ability to obtain an education. Fatoumata and her friends founded the Women's Relief Initiative, which aims to provide sanitary aid that empowers women, sustains the environment, and uplifts under-resourced communities.     Ernest White II is a storyteller, explorer, executive producer and host of television travel docu-series FLY BROTHER with Ernest White II, currently airing in the United States on Public Television Stations and Create TV nationwide. He is also founder and CEO of Presidio Pictures, a new film, television, and digital media studio centering BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and senior/elder narratives.

    He holds an undergraduate degree in political science from Florida A&M University, an MFA in creative writing from the American University in Washington, and is currently earning his Certificate in the Business and Management of Entertainment from the University of California, Los Angeles.

    A Florida native, Ernest’s favorite places include South Africa, São Paulo, and San Francisco.

    Aminah King is a 24-year-old queer black woman who is solo traveling the world and currently living outside of her home country of The United States of America. In September 2020, Aminah took the leap and listened to her intuition which told her to get out of the United States. In the last year, she has lived in and traveled to 7 countries and 14 cities. During this journey, she started a travel YouTube Channel, Aminah's Adventures. Aminah currently manages various social media accounts, offers content creation consultations, and creates digital media for others.

    Big Javi and Dr. D Walker welcome Bintu Musa-Harry to Black with Blue Passports to explore what it's like to be a Black abroad while working for the U.S. Department of State. Bintu reflects upon meeting Big Javi in Panama, how she got involved with the state department and the overall impact that traveling abroad has had on her as a Black American woman, and why she thinks it's critical to engage Black youth in internationalization. 

    Bintu Musa-Harry is a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies from Towson University and a Master’s Degree in International Development from American University where she focused her research on democracy and development in post-conflict societies.

    Bintu is a proud recipient of the Thomas R. Pickering Fellowship. Through this fellowship, she worked in Bureau of African Affairs’ Office for Central Africa and the International Narcotic and Law Enforcement section of U.S. Embassy, Lima. Most recently, she served as a Consular Officer at U.S. Embassy Port-au-Prince.

    Prior to joining the Foreign Service, she designed programs for adult education, youth development, and girls' empowerment initiatives.  She also served as a Fulbright Scholar in Rwanda where she taught English at Rwanda Tourism University College. Her other overseas experience includes living in Guyana and Panama.

    In her spare time, she enjoys tropical vacations, African Literature, and reggae concerts. She speaks Sierra Leonean Krio, Haitian Kreyol, Spanish, and French. She is currently learning Vietnamese in preparation for her next assignment as a Public Diplomacy Officer at U.S. Consulate Ho Chi Minh City.
