The Long Island Serial Killer (LISK), also known as the Gilgo Beach Killer, is responsible for a series of gruesome murders that have left investigators, families, and the public searching for answers for over a decade. The recent arrest of Rex Heuermann in July 2023 has breathed new life into the investigation, potentially providing long-awaited closure in one of the most chilling cases in New York’s criminal history. Heuermann’s arrest marks a significant development, but the story of LISK is one rooted in mystery, failed investigations, and the psychological terror that comes with the unknown.

Our Names are Trevor and Riley. We are from West Michigan and we are best friends who have had a love for the things that go bump in the night for years, after many years of talking about doing a podcast and going out and investigating the paranormal ourselves. We Finally did it. Thus What Goes Bump In the Night was born in 2019.
