As I think about it, there were a few occasions where I could see the possibility of finding my joy again, but it didn’t happen until I was ready to accept my new position in life. My transformation as we discussed last week.

This week I have my brother by another mother, Ozzie Coto on with me.

He is such a kind and wise soul and he knows a lot about transformation after losing a portion of his hand at 11 years old. He has helped me personally so much in calming myself and accepting things even when I’m feeling hectic.

He has some tips for us, and we had a wonderful conversation for which I am grateful. He even added a guided meditation at the end. We ran a little bit long, she please remember that you can always save this and look at it when you’d like and take from it what you need and leave the rest.

Last episode, the Paramedics transporting me from the physical rehabilitation center to the hospital for a swallow test realized that I was having a medical emergency.

They took me to the emergency room instead ultimately saving my life AGAIN. I thought I had pneumonia again.

I was in a lot more trouble than I realized. 

But God 🙌🏽

This week I finish my initial stay in the Burn ICU at Grady Memorial Hospital and move to a Physical Rehabilitation Center.

It’s time to learn to walk again and it’s not going to be pleasant.

After 2 months in a medically induced coma, I awakened happy and grateful.

I was facing many more challenges than I knew, but within the first week I understood most of them. How could I possibly overcome all the medical problems I had? And how would I maintain my sanity when I was so wrought with anxiety and fear?

This week I’ll discuss the details of my health condition at the time and how my issues were resolved. From repeated pneumonia to learning to walk again, we’ll cover it all.

More importantly, I’ll discuss how and what I felt.

It’s important for those who are still fighting to know that they are not alone and THEY CAN DO IT! ♥️

Remember, life is a layer cake. Each experience helps us to understand and overcome the next.
