  • Prayer
    2024/11/22
In today’s episode I talk about prayer and how it is so easy to fall into a habit of not praying.

Prayer is essential to Christian life and praying with our whole bodies allows us to access all of God’s grace. It enables us to focus our whole being, on the one true God who makes all things good!

  • Confession and Conversion
    2024/11/15
In today’s episode I am focusing on the confession I made that was the turning point of my conversion. I read in the catechism that the sacrament of confession is also know, among other things, as the sacrament of conversion.

I highly recommend listening to Father Mike Schmitz’s podcast “The Catechism in a Year”. Everything you want to know about what Catholics believe can be found in this book.

Here is Father Mike’s episode on the sacrament of penance and reconciliation:

  • Let Go And Let God
    2024/11/07
In today’s episode I will continue to share my story, talking about how I received my faith from my father.

Our parents are essential for the foundation of our faith. From that foundation, we must then grow and branch out. I was not growing or branching out on my own. I was stuck living the faith of my father.

We are all called to live the faith in our own unique way, but we still need a foundation and guidelines as we grow.

  • The Church, The Whole Church And Nothing But The Church
    2024/11/01
This being my first episode, I wanted to touch on my conversion to the Catholic faith both physically, and spiritually. I also wanted to share a little bit of history when it comes to understanding how the Catholic Church came to be.

It was always intended that Christians be united under one church, that being the church that Jesus founded. A church with Peter, the rock, as the head of the church, and the apostles who utilized the gifts they received to spread the gospel to the world.

There is so much rich history in the Catholic Church that I have yet to uncover, but I feel like I’m on the right track. I have jumped the first hurdle of believing that the Catholic Church is the one true church of Jesus Christ.

Let’s see what other misconceptions I can shed light on!
