One of the less talked about features of ChatGPT is the ability to talk your way through a recipe using the ChatGPT app and some ingredients, of course. Here's what happened when I asked Chatty how to spice up my broccoli and tofu I had in my kitchen.

In your ChatGPT prompts, how much do you need to tell it for it to produce good output? I find that telling it the genre of the text I'm working on skews the results too much towards, to be frank, bad writing norms. So I hold back and massage the text in different ways for a large part of prompt chaining and tell if the genre late in the game.

And this is the method that I shared with Karen Michaels in this fun coaching episode. And wow, the results that Chatty came up with for her book outlines is stunning. This episode is worth it just for her cooing alone. It's priceless.

April of Door Key and I were in the middle of a Podcast To Connect episode and she said that she used the same hashtags for every one of her 14 podcast posts for one episode and I thought, we need to get Chatty (what I call ChatGPT) on this. He can give her more hashtags to play with so quickly.

So we started to record this episode, where we not only got some new hashtags for her posts but also got some other history podcasters for her to peruse their hashtags (and possible use some of them). Double win, right?

I heard “I’m not good with analytics”

and instantly thought “I wonder if ChatGPT can help with that.”

So I uploaded podcast download data from Buzzsprout into ChatGPT and asked it to analyze the data. And this happened 🤯.

I know how unsexy this task sounds but believe you me, this is a game changer. Using Chatty (what I call ChatGPT) to turn a document into a spreadsheet checklist is the first time an LLM has saved me time. Usually it saves me headspace and stress but time, eh, no.

You know, I made amazing tasting chicken wings with a spice recipe from Chatty the other day. With the voice prompt. I was able to ask for the next step, do it, then ask for the next one. I got food amounts at the moment I needed them by asking and was not overwhelmed at all by all the info (and ads) that come with an online recipe.

This type of prompt chaining, no matter is by voice or text, is a key way to get what you need from Chatty or any LLM. In this new episode, I’m experimenting with writing a podcast script with Chatty. Spoiler: It was a HUGE success, but not in the way you’re thinking.

Our host, Steph Fuccio, helped Jennay through how to talk to Chatty and yes, sometimes how to get her/it to stop talking. They also experimented with some prompts and of course did some prompt chaining because no output is perfect the first time through, right?
