Chosen and Blessed: Rooted in Your Identity in Christ

  • サマリー

  • Hey friends, this week I am joined by Barb Hollace and Adriano from Be Ready Ministries to discuss Ephesians 1. They talk about the meaning of being chosen and blessed in Christ, the importance of recognizing and accessing spiritual blessings, and the impact of knowing that we are children of God. They emphasize the need to be rooted in our identity in Christ and to live out our purpose and gifts to bring glory to God. In this conversation, Adriano Ferraro and Barb Hollace discuss the importance of walking in our identity in Christ and being rooted in His love. They emphasize that it is not about our own efforts, but about receiving God's grace and living as His chosen children. They share personal stories of discovering their identity in Christ and how it has transformed their lives. They also talk about using their gifts and talents to glorify God and reach others for Christ. The conversation concludes with a discussion on the practical ways to remind ourselves daily that we are chosen and blessed by God.

    About our guests:

Adriano Ferraro is a pastor, singer, songwriter, sketch artist, author, but most of all, a child of God who loves to pray and see the healing power of Jesus in the lives of others.

His love of singing and writing songs started at a young age when he would go alone into the woods in his backyard.

Adriano wrote original songs and recorded them in Seattle, Nashville, and Spokane. His repertoire includes many styles – gospel, jazz, country, and pop. Adriano has written three albums and his first book released in 2024 is Be Ready, with more to come.
Professionally, Adriano also teaches private voice lessons and how to perform on stage. As a guest speaker, his presentation also includes original songs. Adriano’s goal is to encourage others to live and dream again using their God-given gifts and talents.

Adriano has a Bachelor’s degree in music and fine arts from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Washington. He is also in the final stages of auditioning for an appearance on the Voice in 2024-2025.

Barbara is a resilient woman who is an author, strategist, writing coach, encourager, and stealth prayer warrior. As a believer, she knows the power of prayer and pursuing the passion God has placed in your heart.

On her own life journey, Barbara has learned the power of telling your story, both writing and speaking. Her passion is to “identify the good and magnify it” through Hollace Writing Services and Hollace House Publishing.

Her speaking journey led her from local and regional events to the Greenleaf International Servant Leadership Conference. In 1985, Barbara self-published her first book. She is the author or contributing author of 27 books and many newspaper articles, with other books in development.

Barbara earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, with an English emphasis, from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington and returned to school to receive her Juris Doctor degree from Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington.

Barbara is the Communications Director at Spokane Dream Center and also a certified, Prayer Powered Mastermind Facilitator. She sits on the Board of Directors for Freedom Has A Face, serving the families of our fallen military heroes and also the International School of Story that has the goal of collecting one million stories about when God made the impossible, possible.
