    • The Impacts of Stress 2.0

    • This an accessory episode to the last one and may seem very educational and direct, which it is. The nature of this episode is to isolate the true nature of stress, the effects it has on the body, and the fact that some of what you think may be a physical or mental ailment may be something all together.

    • What is stress? Stress can be defined as a state of worry or mental tension caused by a difficult situation. Stress is a natural human response that prompts us to address challenges and threats in our lives.

    • Little understood MASSIVE and EXTENSIVE reach of stress: (adverse reactions to)

    • COGNITIVE:

      • Memory Problems

      • Poor Judgement

      • Inability to Concentrate

      • ‘Brain Fog’

      • Indecision

      • Starting many tasks but achieving little

      • Self doubt

    • EMOTIONAL:

      • Depression

      • Moodiness

      • Irritability

      • Fatalistic Thinking

      • Panic

      • Cynicism

      • Anxiety

      • Feeling Overwhelmed

      • Frustration

    • PHYSICAL

      • Chest Pain

      • Rapid Heartbeat

      • Aches and Pains

      • Frequent Colds

      • Skin Complaints

      • Indigestion

      • High Blood Pressure

    • BEHAVIORAL

      • Increase Intake in Alcohol, Cigarettes and Caffeine to Relax

      • Isolating Yourself from Others

      • Sleeping too Little or too Much

      • Demotivated

      • Loss of sense of humour

    • If you are experiencing multiple of these symptoms in more than one of these systems it may be time to step back and reevaluate life stressors.

      • Practice Deep Breathing

      • Prioritize Your Health

      • Stay Hydrated
