Coping with Grief, Looking after yourself and being a Mum

  • サマリー

  • This week I welcome a very dear friend of mine, Charlie De-Moore! Anyone that knows Charlie is lucky! Charlie is kind, caring, loving and so lovely to anyone she meets. Charlie,30, is a loving Wife, Mum, Daughter, Sister, Niece, Sister in Law and Daughter in Law.

Charlie works part time for a local hospice, in Fundraising, working on Events and Challenges. She has worked at the hospice for 7 years. She is a Suffolk gal!, Bury St Edmunds is her hometown. She's been married to her wonderful husband Alex for 6 years and in 2019 the couple welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Thea.

In this weeks episode Charlie will be sharing her own personal experience of living with grief. Charlie's Dad- AKA A Hero, sadly suffered a stroke on 11th October 2013 which left him paralysed on his right side. After the stroke her Dad sadly experienced further episodes of ill health including a perforated bowel, leg infections, numerous trips in and out of hospital, this man really was a fighter!

Charlie sadly lost her Dad in September 2020, it was sudden and a huge shock to the family .Charlie always remains positive, up-beat and supportive to all. She spins lots of plates on a daily basis and always seems to put others first! How does she do it?! Well will be discussing all- Can't wait for you all to hear!

    Enjoy! x
