We’re back with a few topics on DBR Bites #57! Jason and Donald are super excited...Bobby Hurley is returning to Duke! Duke will play a charity exhibition against Arizona State in what will be the first trip to Cameron for Hurley as a coach. They’ve known this was in the works, but now we get to finally celebrate Hurley’s return to campus. Jason and Donald also discuss Duke Women playing a multi-team event in Vegas around the same time the men will be there. It sets up nicely for fans traveling to see both our teams play. On the other hand, the NIL tournament that is being set up in Vegas is in some serious danger due to the NCAA dropping some warnings about what is allowed and not allowed with regards to “pay for play” NIL. After the break, Bryce Davis has flipped his football commitment from Clemson to Duke, becoming one of the most heralded recruits in Duke Football history. We discuss the ramifications of this level of recruit coming to Durham. We end with the reports that UConn could be once again trying to find a new home with the Big XII.
