  • Bonus Episode: Podcast Finale
    2023/06/20

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported my podcast. As I transition my coaching practice to general life coaching, I have decided to end this podcast.

Creating a podcast was something I wanted to do for a long time, and sharing this podcast with you has been one of the highlights of the last 2 years for me.

As a general life coach, I am trained to coach on anything. So if you do want help with intuitive eating and/or improving your relationship with food, I can help you.

If you want to coach on something else, I can help you as well.

Thanks again for going on this journey with me. I really appreciate it.

    IMPORTANT UPDATE:
I have changed my coaching niche from binge eating to general life coaching. This change allows me to continue coaching on binge eating while also coaching my clients on anything else they want help with.

If you are a woman in medicine and you're interested in coaching, you can schedule a time to meet with me by going to my website: https://coachingsaveslives.com

  • 64. The "Last Supper" Mentality
    2023/04/21

Have you ever been about to start a new eating plan, but before it officially starts, you have one last meal where you eat everything you won't be able to eat starting tomorrow? If so, you've likely engaged in "last supper" thinking.

Last supper thinking happens when you decide to deny yourself food you love because you think it's bad or unhealthy. The problem is, when you plan to deny yourself, you end up eating as much of that food as you possibly can.  It's your way of saying goodbye to that food.

It may make sense in the moment, but this strategy is ineffective in the long run. It promotes overeating, binging, guilt, and restriction. The good news is that it doesn't have to be this way.

In this episode, I talk about the last supper mentality, where it comes from, why it's harmful, and how to get rid of it forever.

    IMPORTANT UPDATE:
I have changed my coaching niche from binge eating to general life coaching. This change allows me to continue coaching on binge eating while also coaching my clients on anything else they want help with.

  • 62. Identity Shifts
    2023/04/01

When it comes to your relationship with food and your body, what is your identity? How do you think about yourself? How do those thoughts influence your feelings and actions? How does the  identity you've chosen affect your results? What do you think would be possible for you relating to food and your body if you adopted a new identity?

In this week's episode, I answer these questions. I also share my personal experience of how my life changed once I shifted my identity from that of a binge eater to someone who is able to control myself around food.
