  • Being an Empath Part 2

    This episode was created as a part 2 of last week's episode on what is an Empath? In this episode, I share effective strategies and resources for being an empath.

    Being an empath is like having a built-in superpower for understanding and connecting with others on a deep level. However, without the right tools it can be overwhelming. This episode is helpful for you to learn how to develop your own tools and practices.

    Effective Strategies:

    1. Ground yourself and your energy.

    2. Protect your energy or shielding. Golden clock of light.

    3. Emotional detachment.

    4. Limit or be mindful of exposure. Watch for energy suckers.

    5. Practice mindfulness and self-awareness.

    6. Use visualization techniques.

    7. Set healthy boundaries. This is often one of the most challenging lessons for empaths - learn to say no without feeling guilty, and have sturdy, clear boundaries, it's a full body yes or full body no there is no in-between.

    8. Develop emotional resilience. Strengthen your own emotional well-being, emotional intelligence and self-awareness.

    9. Release absorbed energy. This is also so helpful and important for empaths, if you have absorbed someone else's energy are you aware of what that feels like? Can you ask - is this energy or feeling mine? What does a yes feel like? What does a no feel like? When it is not your energy how can you release it?

    10. Surround yourself with good energy. Your vibe attracts your tribe, be mindful. Seek out uplifting environments, calming activities or find your soul family.

    If you don't have your people yet don't worry, just begin to actively start seeking out what you desire in a relationship or community. Be the energy that you want to attract in. Own your weight and wear it proud, be yourself, take the mask off. Own who you are and be brave enough to show up fully regardless of who likes it or not. It's not your job to worry about what other people think. It's your job to work on your energy, healing, and personal growth.

    Notice patterns within yourself. How do you feel in crowds? Are there things that help? Are there places or people who consistently make you feel a certain way? What is your body trying to tell you?

    When you work with being an empath you will understand your heightened awareness can help you increase your intuition and your clairsenses. You can use these abilities to help you in your everyday life. Empaths are the healers, leaders, visionaries, the change-makers, the helpers. Do you feel called to help others? What gift do you feel like you are meant to share with the world? What is holding you back?

    Be mindful of the fear cycle that is trying to stop the helpers and healers, You can't heal yourself or help others from a place of fear.

  • What is an Empath

    In this episode, I share insights on what an empath is and why being empathic is actually your superpower. This is a part 1 of a 2 part series, so stay tuned for part 2 next week.

    - What is an empath

    - What does it actually mean to be "highly sensitive" - you are actually deeply attuned

    - Just because you absorb other people's emotions doesn't mean you have to, you can learn this skill and I want to help you do it

    - Empaths have strong intuitions - they often sense things before they are spoken around them, learn to use this heightened sense to your advantage (let it work for you not against you)

    - Energetic Boundaries are helpful, healthy and necessary

    - Deep compassion for everyone else but not yourself? not anymore

    - Prioritize your strong connection to nature as a ground technique and to regulate your nervous system regularly

    - If you get drained easily as an empath you are going to want to become so aware of what your energy deposits and withdrawals are - you will also need to become more comfortable saying no, having boundaries and learning to receive better

    - Are you drawn to a healing profession? you are likely an empath, how can being an empath become a superpower in your line of being of service?

    - Rituals are your new best friend - I share my rituals and how they have helped me so much

    - Journaling and reflecting on experiences and learning from them

    - Empaths are great listeners which is why everyone always comes up to you and feels safe to open up to you - learn to discern what you can hold the space for. Just because you are a good listener doesn't mean you have to do it all the time, you have free will and choice

  • Becoming a Conscious Couple

    Happy Valentine's Day! With love in the air I wanted to share an episode on Love, and learning more about becoming a conscious couple. Earlier this week I shared on Instagram some questions that Mark and I ask each other that have transformed our marriage for the better. You guys said the questions were so helpful so I got inspired to share more helpful resources and questions.

    * Even if you are not in a partnership or relationship you will find helpful information in this episode. You can translate a lot of this information to your relationship with you kids, close loved ones, co-workers, and people in your community. Healthy relationships are an important part of divine health, they can foster deeper emotional and social connections.

    In this episode:

    - How you can celebrate love and this day regardless of if you are in a relationship or not

    - What is a conscious couple?

    - 7 Key traits of a conscious couple

    - 15 questions you can ask yourself and your partner to work on becoming a conscious couple or to deepen your relationship

    - 4 categories for questions: Understanding Each Other's Love Language, How You Receive Love, How You Give Love, Emotional Intimacy and Growth

    - 10 blocks to becoming a conscious couple and how to use this information to become more self-aware and over come them

    15 Questions:

    1. How do you most naturally express love? How do you most naturally feel love? Through words (words of affirmation), physical touch, acts of service, gifts or quality time?

    Ask follow-up questions - for example, if someone says they receive and give love through gifts a follow-up question would be what makes you feel love when receiving a gift? What is special about it? Are there certain gifts that make you feel more loved? etc.

    2. What makes you feel the most loved and appreciated?

    3. Are there ways I express love that you may not recognize as love?

    4. Do you find it easy or difficult to receive love? Why?

    5. Are there past experiences that make it hard for you to accept love openly?

    6. How do you prefer to be comforted when you're feeling down? stressed? sad? overwhelmed?

    7. What small gestures from e make you feel deeply loved?

    8. What brings you the most joy when giving love to me?

    9. Are there times when you feel your love isn't received in the way you intended?

    10. How can I help you feel after and confident in expressing love?

    11. Are there any ways you would like to expand or change how you give love?

    12. What fears do you have about love? How can we work through them together?

    13. How do you feel when we're out of sync in expressing love?

    14. How can we remind each other to be more present and intentional in showing love?

    15. What does love feel like to you beyond words or actions?

    Asking questions like this regularly can help deepen your connection and ensure that love is expressed and received in ways that feel meaningful to both partners. Mark and I love to ask "What do you need?" it's such a helpful question to ask and opens up honest communication, problem solving and connection.

  • Client Testimonial & Inspiring Healing Journey with Nikki V

    In this episode, I brought on a client as a testimonial and inspiring healing journey. Today's guest is Nikki Vaccalluzzo, we began working together over a year ago and I am so grateful I have been able to witness her soul journey and discovery.

    Nicole's Bio

    In the fall of 2021, after moving to a beautiful home on a forest property in the country, Nicole realized something was missing fro her life but she was unsure what it was. Soon after, she registered for a 10-week self-discovery program with a women's coach, which started her journey of getting to know herself again.

    Through journaling, meditation, intuitive reiki sessions, shadow work, yoga, reevaluating her core values, and relearning to embrace her intuition, she has manifested a life that feels authentic to her. In the past year, Nicole has navigated the death of her father, her marriage, the life she thought she would live, and many versions of herself.

    She is a proud mom to one son, a registered nurse, an empath, a Tarus sun, a Gemini moon, a Cancer rising, and a projector in human design. Nicole loves love, her people, food, learning, and traveling. She ahs a strong belief that death need to be celebrated with the same love and attention we give birth.

  • Healing Emotions & Old Wounds

    In this episode, I share steps and strategies for healing emotions and old stored emotional wounds. This is a complex process and it is also a deeply personal process. This episode is meant to build upon last week's topic on emotional intelligence.

    What is emotional healing?

    It is the process of learning to feel your emotios to heal them. It involves a deeply personal process that involves acknowledging, understanding and addressing your feelings in a way that fosters growth and well-being.

    Healing old stored emotions involves a similar process where you acknowledge, process and release emotions in a way that promoites growth, self-compassion and healing.

    In this episode:
    - What is emotional healing and why is understanding this process is so important
    - How your childhood and upbringing can influence your subconscious core beliefs and programs
    - Layla's story - how her upbringing helped her healing journey with anxiety
    - Steps and strategies to work through emotional healing 1-9 shared below
    - An client example of working through this process in an energy healing session

    Emotional Healing Steps/Strategies:

    1 Acknowledge your feelings

    a) Allow yourself to feel: recognize and accept your emotions without judgement or creating a story around them

    b) Name the emotion: label or identify the emotion you are feeling (can also identify where you are feeling it in your body)

    2. Understand the Source: reflection and introspection - helpful to learn to look for patterns: notice recurring themes or situations that provoke strong feelings

    3. Express your Emotions or Feelings.

    4. Feel the Emotion Fully - in episode I share ways you can do this.

    5. Release and Let Go.

    6. Reframe & Learn - Shift Perspectives - Reflect on the lessons you learned from this experience.
    What did this teach me? What am I learning about myself? How am I growing from this experience? How am I healing from this experience?

    * Challenge negative or unhelpful beliefs tied to your emotions - if it's harful or mean, or not helpful - reframe.

    7. Seek Support When Needed - examples shared in episode.

    8. Cultivate New Practices - Create New Neural Pathways for lasting Change & Healing.

    9. Forgive and Let Go if Needed. Do you need to forgive yourself? remember you were doing the very best you could with where you are at. I share a practice to help with forgivness. This step also helps you release grudges, guilt or past hurts that can create space for healing and more light.

  • Understanding Emotional Intelligence

    In this episode, we dive into the concept of understanding emotional intelligence and the significance of having this skill.

    In this episode:
    - What is emotional intelligence?
    - What is an emotion - it's your body's way of communicating (energy in motion)
    - Why it's so important to learn this skill
    - Reminder - you are not your feelings, you are the self witnessing or feeling the feelings
    - Important to sit and listen from the heart not the head
    - You can't heal without becoming self-aware and having emotional intelligence
    - Looking at the energetics of emotions
    - Importance of self-awareness - recognizing and understanding your own emotions and how they affect your thoughts and behaviours
    - Sit with the emotion, what are you feeling, where are you feeling it and what is it trying to tell you?
    - Listen from a neutral place, don't make a story around it (if you have a big long story around your emotion you know you are in your head not your heart)
    - Be patient with this process and understand it's like any skill the more you practice the better you get at it and the easier it becomes for you
    - Client examples on working through emotions, listening what was coming up, where it was coming up, and the resolution that came from listening to the emotion and what the body was wanting so you can honour it
    - Law of attraction
    - Learn to stop fighting to defend the problem, shift your focus on the solution
    - If you can't move through, ask yourself if you are only focusing on the problem - the problem is here and remains here by how much attention you give to it
    - Self-regulation and emotional intelligence
    - Significance of self-regulation and relationships
    - TRIGGERS ARE TEACHERS - what is triggering you? where do you feel it? what is it telling you? What wants to be healed inside of you?
    - Triggers can show you unhealed parts of yourself
    - Empathy is a by-product of being emotionally intelligent, if you see someone else acting a certain way you can have empathy for them and not take it personally
    - Emotional intelligence and intuition enhance your clairsenses or your senses
    - There are no bad feelings, and nothing you can feel
    - Magician - feel to heal and to transmute
    - We were born to feel, you are strong enough and courageous enough to sit with and feel any uncomfortable emotions

  • Filling Your Spiritual Bank Account

    In this episode, I share ways to fill your Spiritual Bank Account. Everyone, at any moment, has a spiritual bank account (or an energy bank account). The problem is that most people are unaware of how they are draining their energy or not making time to invest in or deposit into this system. This episode shares insights on how to become a super investor and how to be mindful of your investments and withdrawals.

    In this episode:
    - What is energy?
    - What is energy work?
    - What are the chakra's?
    - What is a spiritual bank account?
    - Begin your day with awareness or connecting to your energy bank account - know where you are at
    - What ways can you deposit into this account daily? remember each day can feel different so the ways you receive might change too
    - What are the things that are draining your account?
    - It's not just about the bank account, the idea is that the more energy you pour into yourself the more you raise your vibration and frequency, which feels really good. It's all connected, think about how great you feel when you do the things that fill you up
    - Why this concept is so important right now
    - New Earth frequency - the vibration on the Earth is rising
    - The beauty is finding the real you - returning to love and seeing through the illusions
    - 2025 is an opportunity to connect to yourself, and invest in yourself and you can do that through your spiritual bank account and having self-awareness around your energy body
    - Being mindful of not withdrawing so much or being more intentional where you are expending energy
    - The more you fill this account, the more you heal, and your wounds and old limiting patterns or beliefs slowly fall away
    - I end this episode sharing ways I fill my bank account to inspire you to create your own list - remember these are the things that fuel and energize your soul self. These are the things that are truly you so your own list has to come from the heart and really knowing yourself
    - I also share ways that I can drain my energy bank account and how I have become more aware so I don't leak energy unnecessarily

    1. Start each day connecting to yourself and seeing where you are at energetically, I shared how to do this in this episode but you can find your own way that works for you
    2. Create a list of all of the things that feel like deposits into your energy bank account, have fun with it.
    3. Create a list of all the ways you drain your energy bank account without judgement, just as self-reflection.
    4. Each morning set an intention on 1-5 things that you can do to invest in your energy bank account (it's so worth it, I guarantee you will see a return on your investments)
    5. Each morning set an intention of a way you will avoid draining your energy bank account.
