    Battle for Baldur's Gate is still a week away from actually releasing, and it's time to listen to two people that fit the casual/competitive skew this draft format's going for talk about archetypes and strategies that they definitely knew beforehand.

    Josh and Alex read a funny pamphlet that goes over draft archetypes and then proceed to need that pamphlet as they haven't read any card in the format before this episode, and then talk about how politics in Commander is a scourge upon the earth but how they're super important. Supplemental sets are usually a doozie, and Baldur's Gate is no different.

    Newly Mythic-ranked Drafter (at the time of recording, this podcast is late due to Josh/Karif's personal life being a mess) dRafterDemon/Alex schools everyone on how combat tricks work in Streets of New Capenna and Karif tries to figure out why they're so important to the format so he's not blind-sided by them ever again if they happen to be good. Karif still sounds like he's an old man in a rocking chair, dRafter still sounds like he's got LSV's mic quality, it's a good time.
