E34(mini) Can I get a refund if my Canadian immigration application is refused?

  • サマリー

  • When it comes to government fees, most application fees are for processing your application only. Once the processing starts, you will not be eligible for a refund of your payment, even if your application is refused.

There are exceptions to this rule though. Here is a list of fees that are refundable if your application is refused:

    - Consular Fee (varies)

    - Employer Compliance Fee (CAD $230)

    - Open Work Permit (LMIA exempt) Fee (CAD $100)

    - International Experience Class Fee (CAD $156)

    - Right of Permanent Residence Fee (CAD $515)

    - Right of Citizenship Fee (CAD $100)

*Note: A Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant cannot refund their professional service fees if your application is rejected. This is called "Contingency Fees" and is strictly prohibited by the CICC.
