  • Bonus Episode: Sleep, Tangents, Building habits and plans for the channel
    2024/01/21

I recorded so much material, I didn't want to let it all go to waste. So here is a sleep deprived ramble where I talk about over five different tangents based on sleep. Do you struggle with going to sleep, staying asleep and getting up in the morning? Well you're not alone. A delayed circadian rhythm, a dysfunctioning impulse control, racing thoughts and Restless leg syndrome are only a few of the reasons that keep us from getting some quality snoozing time. According to researchers, sleep is the number one factor that influences our health and overall wellbeing. You might not even realise that you are sleep deprived because ADHD symptoms and sleep deprivation look very similar.

  • My Story of taking ADHD medication since I was a kid - RITALIN AND CONCERTA
    2024/01/08

Opinions about Ritalin and other ADHD meds are very polarised. Here are my thoughts and experiences with trying different forms of Methylphenidate aka Ritalin or Concerta throughout my childhood right into adulthood. What have your experiences been? Let me know in the comments. ⚠️ WARNING: Mention of un-aliving thoughts ⚠️ #adhdmedication #adhders #breakingthestigma ADHD and Heart Disorders: There is an article I found after I filmed and edited this episode. In the future I will make a dedicated video specifically on this because it's a little more complex. Findings: "Adults with ADHD are at greater risk of developing a range of cardiovascular diseases than those without the condition. [...] Treatment with stimulants and other psychiatric drugs, such as antidepressants and anxiety-reducing medication, did NOT materially affect the association between ADHD and cardiovascular disease." Link to article "Adult ADHD linked to elevated risk of cardiovascular diseases": https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2022/09/220915165319.htm Sources and links: Rita-line story (Take your Pills - Netflix) ⚠️DISCLAIMER: I do not agree with the majority of how ADHD medications are portrayed in this documentary. I am only using it as a source of where I heard the Rita-line story.
