    SHOW NOTES: In Podcast Episode 310, “Courage to Lay Hold of Your Calling,” Kim discusses the calling the Lord had placed on Elisha. When Elijah was taken up to heaven, Elisha “picked up Elijah’s cloak,” which was symbolic of his laying hold of the Lord’s calling. What is your calling? Have you laid hold of it or are you trying to avoid the entire idea of it? Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Kings 2:13-18 with 13 as the focal verse: 13 Elisha picked up Elijah’s cloak, which had fallen when he was taken up. Then Elisha returned to the bank of the Jordan River. WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE: Have you ever asked the Lord to clarify His call for your life? May today be the day. He used the wood from the plow to build a fire to roast their flesh. He passed around the meat to the townspeople, and they all ate.     SHOW NOTES: In Podcast Episode 308, “Holy Boldness til Home,” Kim discusses the holy boldness the prophet Elijah displayed until the end of his earthly life. May we all speak God’s Word with boldness, today and all the days of our lives. Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Kings 1:1-18 with 3-4 as the focal verses: 3 But the angel of the Lord told Elijah, who was from Tishbe, “Go and confront the messengers of the king of Samaria and ask them, ‘Is there no God in Israel? Why are you going to Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, to ask whether the king will recover? 4 Now, therefore, this is what the Lord says: You will never leave the bed you are lying on; you will surely die.’” So Elijah went to deliver the message. WEEKLY ENGAGEMENT FEATURE: Are you displaying holy boldness now? How will you display holy boldness until you are home?
