Ep 10: Dance with what Emerges: The Power of Ubuntu Coaching

  • サマリー

  • Ubuntu is a philosophy that says we are all connected. It's a way of looking at things that emphasizes love, not just in our relationships but also in our community, and it's based on the idea that we can't do everything ourselves. It asks us to share more with others, and to work together more often.

The Ubuntu philosophy is very powerful when applied to coaching.

On today's show, I am joined by Nobantu Mpotulo, THE authority when it comes to Ubuntu coaching. We will explore the power of Ubuntu coaching and we will explore ways in which ubuntu coaching can help you get closer to your goals and dreams.

Nobantu Mpotulo coaches leaders and teams, she facilitates leadership programmes to help leaders do human better by leading with heart and backbone.

Nobantu is amongst the 6% of coaches globally accredited by the International Coach Federation at Master Coach Level (MCC). Nobantu has been able to humanize leadership through developing Ubuntu centred leadership programmes and Ubuntu Coaching.

Her Ubuntu Coach Training Programme has trained 100 coaches globally and HR staff to be Ubuntu Coaches. She developed the Ubuntu Coaching Mantra “See More, Hear More, Love More , Illuminate More, Be More and Do Less.” Nobantu is part of the international inaugural team that launched Ethical Coach in Ethiopia. The vision of Ethical Coach is to ensure that all NGO leaders in developing countries benefit from coaching.

She is a mindfulness teacher for over 20 years, she is an Enneagram Teacher, she is a Gestalt Practitioner, an NLP Practitioner and Process Work Facilitator. She holds an MA (Guidance and Counselling) from Durham University UK.

Her favourite quote is by Victor Frankl Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and freedom.
