He serves on the Global Board of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as a Director at large. Dumi is a founding Board Member of the Africa Board for Coaching, Consulting and Coaching Psychology (ABCCCP), a coaching association promoting professional coaching and leadership development across Africa.

He co-founded the Ubuntu Coaching Foundation (UCF) in South Africa at The Coaching Centre (TCC), where he has been part of the Senior Faculty for over fourteen years. The Foundation is a non- profit entity promoting access to – and awareness of - coaching in poor communities.
