Ep. 31 "Little Steps of Obedience" - Rudy Mahara

  • サマリー

  • Rudy Mahara is the Regional Vice President of the National Christian Foundation in Indiana. After serving in the military post 9/11 and deploying to Iraq, Rudy joined his dad's financial planning practice. It was during his time as an advisor where Rudy learned about National Christian Foundation. Over time, he felt a nudge from the Holy Spirit to pursue working for the National Christian Foundation. Now, Rudy can align his financial expertise with giving and generosity discussions he has with other advisors and prospective givers.

Rudy joins the podcast to discuss Deuteronomy 8:17-18. Here we see God really challenging and training the Israelites for what is to come. He wants us to have wealth, however, we often think the power comes from our own doing when ultimately it is God's power giving us the ability to create wealth. We also spend time talking about abundance and sacrificial giving and how we need to be obedient to the Holy Spirit's nudging in our lives. Rudy also challenges us on relational giving. Sometimes it is talking to a neighbor on the porch or sharing a meal together that makes the difference.
