Ep 40: The Healing Power of a Heartfelt Business, with Caroline Stafford

  • サマリー

  • Today’s conversation is with Caroline Stafford, founder & creator of The Kitsch Hen. The powerful mission of this beautiful business is to spread kindness and brighten people’s days with hand-stamped biscuits.

As with so many of the business owners I interview, Caroline didn’t ever ‘plan’ to launch a business in biscuits and it was nothing like her previous jobs, rather it evolved directly from her heart, when despite going through a horribly tough time in her own life, she thoughtfully crafted hand-stamped biscuits with messages of love, hope and encouragement for those she knew who were also facing struggles. Of course these biscuits were gratefully received and Caroline realised that if she loved sending them to friends and family in their moments of need, then she surely couldn’t be the only one. And so her business journey began.

Caroline speaks with grace & vulnerability as she shares the tough times she faced during a 10 year long IVF journey; she shares how the business was one of the things that kept her afloat. The Kitsch Hen is something Caroline has nurtured and loved and it gives her true sense of purpose and meaning.

We talk around the ups and downs of running a business and how slowing down when you run a business is hard yet so important. We also touch on finding balance (and if it’s even possible!) as well as creating a life that feels good over looking good.

Listen on to hear more of Caroline’s story & wisdom and be sure to check out her website too!
