Patrick Kearney was an American serial killer and necrophile who murdered at least 21 young men and boys in California between 1972 and 1977. He was known as the "Trash Bag Killer" because he often disposed of his victims' bodies in garbage bags. Kearney was eventually caught and sentenced to life in prison, where he remains today.
