Welcome back to Episode 9 of Unapologetically Me, I open up about the emotional rollercoaster of watching my son start high school this week. As the only child from his primary school to attend his new school, he’s had a tough time adjusting, missing his old friends and struggling to make new ones. It broke my heart to see him come home upset, and it’s made me reflect on the challenges we face as parents when our kids grow up and become more independent.

I also talk candidly about my own struggles with anxiety as my children grow older and how letting go of the reins can be overwhelming. On a brighter note, I introduce you to our new puppy, who has brought unexpected comfort and healing into my life. As it turns out, I needed him more than I realised, and his presence is helping me cope with these big changes.
