Episode 15: Working on a Cruise Ship & Working as an Industrial Hygienist

  • サマリー

  • Thanks for joining me once again! Wishing you the best! I thought it would be neat to talk on what may interest others in the field of consultant work, working on a cruise ship, how we wonder how things are made, working in manufacturing plants like the Ford F150 plant, Harley Davidson, Mass Production food plants, etc. These were just some of my experiences working as an "Industrial Hygiene Consultant" aka an EHS(Environmental, Health, and Safety) specialist. I did this for nearly three years after getting one of my Bachelor's Degrees in Public Health Industrial Hygiene and pursued it as my career post graduation. This is why we moved from Utah to Houston. This is what allowed me to travel several times a month for work. This is what brought me the opportunity to head for Japan for the first time and work on the Diamond Princess and three other ships. I feel so thankful and wanted to share some experiences.
I also wanted to speak on safety tips and information I wish people knew. How crucial it is to know your rights! That your work space should be safe for your health whether it be an office, working outside, or with machinery. Please check out OSHA's websites if you have any concerns or want to just know what regulations are out there.

I'm here for you if you have any questions or concerns!
Would love to have a guest speaking on this more in the future too!
Let me know what you "wonder" about!
