He has written extensively on the intersection of psychoanalysis and community crisis intervention and is in private practice in New York City. Dr. Borg earned his MA and PhD from the California School of Professional Psychology in a dual-track program in clinical and community psychology. During his time there, he contributed to a community empowerment project in South Central Los Angeles following the 1992 riots and provided psychotherapy at the AIDS Services Foundation in Orange County, California. An avid surfer, Dr. Borg surfs whenever he can.
