In this episode of Making Great Saints, Dr. Fonseca shares the story of the call of Abraham. This call required great trust and faith on the part of Abram (later named Abraham by God) and his wife, Sarah. This story of faith involves leaving behind family, moving to a foreign land, and trusting God when He promised Abraham his descendants would be as numerous as the stars in the sky (Genesis 15:5), even though Sarah was past her child-bearing years. Ultimately, we see how for Abraham and Sarah to remain faithful, God had to be the center of their lives. Listen in as Dr. Fonseca describes the struggles Abraham and Sarah had trusting God would fulfill His promises and how through it all, God remained faithful.
