Welcome to a special series ‘Conversations That Count’ featuring Singapore-based
professionals. This sunny island has been my home since 2009, so I’m excited to
shine a spotlight on the inspiring residents I share this sunny island with!
About our guest:
Pearl is the Co-Founder of Curious Leaders Circle, a leadership development
consultancy and platform focusing on curiosity-based interventions and coaching to drive performance. With 20 years of product management and marketing experience in healthcare, she has taken on key roles in organizations as the Asia Pacific Regional Head of Customer Experience and Vice-President of Marketing.
She is the host of the Rebel Curiosities podcast, which showcases interviews with
experts on how they harness curiosity in their work to change the status quo. She believes in the potential of curiosity as a catalyst to break down barriers in propelling organizations and individuals toward better performance and results. She is a lover of coffee, conversations and an avid reader!
In this episode, Pearl shares three ways to use curiosity to overcome procrastination:
1. Look inward to understand obstacles and fears.
2. Seek inspiration through new experiences.
3. Take action with a mindset of experimentation and learning.
And, Pearl coaches me through my own procrastination on launching a new service for my Walk and Talk community. She helps me address my anxieties around pricing and commitment. Thank you, Pearl!
