  • #10 Andy Donaldson
    2021/06/17
Our guest Andy Donaldson grew up in a small coastal village in the west of Scotland to an Indonesian Mother and Scottish Father. He studied accounting at Loughborough University in conjunction with pursuing the Olympic Dream in elite level swimming, an endeavour which ultimately brought him across the globe to Perth Australia in 2013.
Andy has since gone on to race around the world for club and country, he's swam in one of the world's craziest channel crossings from Saudi Arabia to Bahrain (a 30km swim which was followed by an unforgettable Formula 1 experience watching from the royal box with the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, the king of Bahrain and the king of Spain), and this year, he came out retirement following 10 months of backpacking to win Perth's very own Rottnest Channel Swim. His time of 4:04:30 is one of the fastest channel crossings in the event's history

  • #6 Scott Hannah
    2021/03/15
After hearing about his motorbike adventures in India and the beautiful Kimberly region in WA you’d be forgiven for mistaking Scottish Expat Scott Hannah for Ewan McGregor, or for comparing him to Bear Grylls.
In reality though this Champion Bagpipe player is very much his own man and it was a pleasure hearing his story.
