  • Andy's KSL-TV #WhatToWatch: Oscar-winning actor Ke Huy Quan continues his Hollywood comeback with ‘Love Hurts’
    2025/02/08

Andy Farnsworth joins KSL-TV to help audiences decipher #WhatToWatch for the weekend of February 7, 2025. Supporting Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan finally gets to lead a movie and an action-romance, no less! But “Love Hurts” isn't maybe the best vehicle ever, yet there are some mindlessly fun moments if you can get past the mindless violence. The Oscar-nominated movie from Brazil called “I'm Still Here” is a foreign film worth the watch and awards received. There is a new Amy Schumer comedy on Netflix called “Kinda Pregnant” that is more than kinda crass for those who enjoy that humor. Also on Netflix is a series called “Apple Cider Vinegar” with the brilliant Kaitlyn Dever in a true story about a woman who faked brain cancer and built a million-dollar empire on it.

    2025/02/01

Andy Farnsworth joins KSL-TV to help audiences decipher #WhatToWatch for the weekend of January 31, 2025. “September 5” is a tense, fascinating, tight 90-minute watch that looks at the beginnings of how modern news is covered...and the ABC SPORTS crew did it. It takes place entirely in the ABC broadcast studios in Munich '72, and it's worth your time to check out. For kids, but not as much for their parents, "Dog Man,” based on the hit books, is the pick for them. For streaming, there’s the Amazon Prime Video streaming comedy “You're Cordially Invited” with Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon, which made Andy laugh more than he thought it would. And for Spider-Man and Marvel fans, “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” is a fun new animated series worth a watch on DisneyPlus.
