God's Purposes

Let’s take a moment to reflect on the powerful truths found in Joseph’s story in Genesis 45:3-15.

1. God Redeems Our Pain – No matter what trials we’ve faced, God can use them for good. The very things that seem to break us are often the things God uses to shape us. Joseph’s pain wasn’t wasted - it positioned him for a greater purpose.

2. God Has a Greater Plan – Joseph’s suffering wasn’t just about him; God was working on a much bigger story. Even when life seems unfair, even when we can’t see the bigger picture, we can trust that God’s plan is always for our ultimate good.

3. God Calls Us to Restore Relationships – True healing and freedom come when we choose forgiveness over bitterness. Joseph had every reason to seek revenge, but instead, he chose reconciliation. Who do you need to forgive today?
