    Story: Fed Up With Flip

When Amarah got back from checking up on Katrina and Bazel, she went to visit DJ Flip and walked up to his door outside of his camper. She over heard him talking to his retired navy buddies.

Flip: Yea, I’m glad that sucker got put in jail. Maybe that will teach him a lesson about spying on my girl. And I better be hearing from her in a few minutes. She claimed she went down there to check on Katrina. Bazel is supposed to get out of jail and go back to Egypt with his girl. But that doesn’t mean nothing. He still wants my girl, and I don’t trust him. Do I trust Amarah? Sometimes I don’t know man. She’s still friends with that sucker after all that stuff he did to me. He pointed a missle gun at Amarah. Yea! She keeps saying it ain’t nothing to worry about, and that Bazel was calling her bluff. What? If she cheats on me, I’ll be using that missle gun on somebody, and I ain’t bluffing.

Suddenly, DJ Flip heard knocking at his door.

Flip: Got to go man. Talk to you later.

Flip hangs up the phone and rushes to the door to let Amarah in.
When Amarah walks in, she stops and folds her arms and gives Flip an angry long stare.

    Flip: Everything alright Amarah?

    Amarah: Is everything alright Flip?

    Flip: Um Yea.

    Amarah: You sure?

Flip: Why? What are you talking about?

Amarah: I heard what you said on the phone. If you’re feeling insecure and not comfortable, why don’t you talk to me? Why Flip? We’re planning to be married soon. We’ve got to trust each other. I can’t stand you not trusting me. If you can’t trust me, we shouldn’t even bother to get married.

Flip: I trust you Amarah, but I don’t understand why you are still friends with Bazel after he attacked me and pointed a missle gun at you. That man can’t be trusted. Can’t you see that?

Amarah: He saved me from a man that tried to attack me one morning in Flip City and asked me for forgiveness. I forgave him.

Flip: What! You never told me that you were attacked.

Amarah: It was during the time we had to be apart because you were afraid I would get hurt with all of the trouble going on in your life. People were attacking you.

Flip: And I agreed to come here in the mountains to be with you. I thought we left Sphinx Bazel and Flip City behind. Looks as though Bazel followed us. He’s been spying on our property. He’s not just coming here for no vacation. He still wants you.

Amarah: It’s just a coincidence, Flip, that he’s here.

    Flip: A coincidence how?

Amarah thought about how she had seen Bazel at the beach. She thought: Hmm! He never did discuss how or why he was at the beach here in the mountains.

Amarah: How do you know he’s been spying?

Flip: I know. He’s been seen.

Then Amarah thought about the day she saw Bazel at the river cave claiming to find out where she lived.

Amarah: Flip, he could be spying. I don’t know.

    Flip: I know he’s spying.

Amarah: He and Katrina wanted to know where we live because they are planning to come to the wedding.

Flip: I don’t care. I don’t trust him. He’s using Katrina for an alibi.

Amarah hung her head in sadness. She liked having Katrina as a friend, and she was getting fed up with Flip. Amarah wanted everyone to be friends.
