    2024/06/03
Donald Trump must go to jail. He must be punished for the first time for his crimes. No golf, no galas with his wealthy friends, but punishment—picking up trash along the road, working in a soup kitchen, serving the public with his own time and labor—or serving time in jail.

  • 213. 💲For Your Convenience
    2023/10/17
🔸Andy discusses “convenience fees” that some businesses are charging customers to cover their cost of business expenses, and how quickly these fees can add up for consumers. 🔹A bill moving through the Senate authored by Sen. Dick Durbin intends to reduce these fees by requiring more competition in the industry, but the big banks are against it, warning consumers that they might lose rewards or airline miles.

    2023/10/14
🔸It’s Friday the 13th! Hope your day is full of good vibes. • 211. ⚖️ Where You Been, Justice?
    2023/10/08
🔸They say justice is supposed to be equal for all. 🔹They say justice is supposed to be fair for all. 🔸So why is it that some people--usually those who are powerful and wealthy--seem to be treated differently from a typical, average American citizen? Why is a powerful public person allowed to endanger others through stochastic terrorism without being stopped? 🔹Andy talks about his week with a contractor who didn't show, and a Republican-controlled state website for citizens that appears to not have considered the user experience during its design (imagine that!) and last but not least, the altercation between Hamas and Israel, which Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is calling war.

  • 210. Shutdown Averted - Proceed to Next GOP Crisis
    2023/10/01
🔸In this episode of FEDERAL ANDY, we discuss a new ad campaign from an organization on the right that's definitely anti-Trump. The six figure campaign includes ads on Fox News in critical swing areas, as well as billboards. Is this further evidence of a shift in support away from Trump? 🔹Andy briefly talks about the work being done on his house, as well as the Republican sponsored attempt at shutting down the government which failed on Saturday, September 30, but was temporarily delayed for 45 days, which means we'll have lots more drama from the right as they continue to flourish by creating one crisis after another. They are all drama queens. Check back on November 17th, and we'll do a recap on all the drama from the right. 🔸As always, thanks for listening. The next episode will likely be late in the week, somewhere between October 3rd-7th, 2023.

  • 209. 🗳️ Republicans Fear Voters
    2023/09/25
🔶Republicans know America isn’t on board with GOP policies, but instead of growing and changing to meet the needs of the people, Republicans have just decided to make it mote difficult to vote, unless you’re a likely GOP voter. 🔹Coming attractions from the GOP: another possible government shutdown because they can’t govern! Andy bresks down who this impacts most if it happens.
