  • 204. Why resistance is GOLD in finance and business
    2024/09/09

Resistance is one of the BEST indicators of where we need to grow.

With finances and business, it’s completely normal to feel resistance.

It comes in different forms for each of us — whether it be avoidance, being a busy fool overworking on unimportant things, procrastination, exhaustion, or getting caught up on minor tasks that simply don’t move the needle.

Most of us have been taught that when we have these negative-feeling symptoms of resistance, we should doubt ourselves, feel fear about the unknown, or shut down.

But what the actual truth is that resistance is a gift.

Because usually whatever is on the other side of that resistance — whatever outcome there would be if we were able to move through the resistance and go do the damn thing — is a MAJOR opportunity.

The more the resistance, the bigger the opportunity.

This is because our brains are designed to keep us safe.

Our brains cannot distinguish things that push us outside of our comfort zone from actual danger.

This is particularly true for things that will free us from the cage of societal barriers, generational patterns, and personal stories that keep us stuck from the abundance and financial freedom we each deserve.

So the next time you feel massive resistance to something in your finances or business, welcome it with open arms.

It’s telling you where your next big opportunity lays. It's telling you what will actually move the needle!

Few people in the world truly understand this truth. And even fewer take action to move through resistance intentionally so they can get to the gold on the other side.

Learning how to quickly reframe negative thoughts, beliefs, patterns, and stories about money and business is critical so you can cross that bridge to financial empowerment and make the impact you’re meant to make through your purpose.

  • 203. What is heart centered sales?
    2024/08/29

Seeing icky used car salesman-like sales my whole life had left a bad taste in my mouth. 🤢
💡 But over the years, I realized: Done with high integrity from the heart, sales is an act of service.
    💟 What is heart-centered sales?
Heart-centered sales is the act of offering your gifts, value, and purpose with the people that you’re meant to help, with integrity, in line with your values and ethics.
It’s what allows us to go from dreaming of making a difference in the world to receiving the compensation to be able to go actually do it.
    ❌ Heart-centered sales is NOT:
…selling to people that you are not confident you can actually help, from a place of desperation lacking integrity 🤮
….selling because you’re focused on needing the money (rather than serving from the heart) 😖
💟 Heart-centered sales is selling because this is what allows you to deliver your offer (whether it is a service or product), that can make your ideal clients’ lives, and the world, better. It’s:
💜 Selling because you give a shit
💜 Selling because you have personally experienced the problem that your ideal client is facing now, and you remember in your body the deep pain, frustration, anxiety, overwhelm, sleepless nights, angry fights, hopelessness, and fear that it caused you and your family in the past.
💜 Selling because you are not here to mess around.
💜 Selling because you have a problem to SOLVE.
💜 Selling because your heart knows that this is what you are meant to share with the world.

💜 Selling because you have a MISSION.
💜 Selling selling is what allows you to deliver it….to finally get to the part that really matters: helping people and improving their lives
Knowing this difference between icky and heart-centered sales can help you get out of your own way, not charging your value or selling at all -- whether it be standing up for how much you deserve to be paid in your current or future business, or showcasing your worth at work.
