Hosts Charene Herrera and Owen Sweeney take you on an exciting creative journey with owners Mike and Libby, showcasing their custom engraving, artwork, and unique handmade pieces.

    We start the episode with a tour of their amazing storefront, featuring a variety of items that highlight Wyoming’s charm and beyond. From ready-to-buy treasures to fully customizable products, Wind River Outpost is a dream destination for unique and personalized gifts.

    Then, it’s time to head into the “laboratory,” where all the magic happens. Mike explains the fascinating laser technology that brings their custom creations to life, while Libby dives into the artistry of her design process. We even got hands-on and made two plaques and two T-shirts! Spoiler alert: no equipment or podcasters were harmed in the process, though the laughter was nonstop, especially when Owen was given the wrong shirt size!

    In this episode of Fremont Biz, we had a blast with Brian Fabel of Fabel’s Furniture, a fine craftsman and all-around cool guy. Brian has an impressive story of transitioning from various office jobs to working full-time in his woodshop. We dove deep into his journey and discovered how fulfilling it has been for him to pursue his passion for woodworking.

    But this episode wasn’t just about work – it took an emotional and philosophical turn, as Brian opened up about life’s transitions and what it means to find joy in craftsmanship. We had lots of laughter, too, with a fun show and tell segment featuring Brian’s beautifully crafted cutting boards. And yes, we may or may not have used some straws, an apple, and a knife during the podcast – hopefully all safely!
