WORD EXPLOSION 2026 | Episode 8 When Jesus Makes God Conspicuous| John 1:9 | John 14:9 | Exodus 3:13–15 | Exodus 33:18–20 | Exodus 32:1–4| CHIMDI OHAHUNA What does it really mean that Jesus is the “true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world”? In Episode 8 of WORD EXPLOSION 2026, Chimdi Ohahuna continues the deep exploration of John 1:9 through the Phillips Translation, focusing on another profound dimension of the word “lighted”, to be conspicuously evident, clear, obvious, and unmistakable. This episode explores the powerful truth that Jesus came to make God conspicuously evident to humanity. Through Christ, God is no longer presented as distant, obscure, or unknowable. Jesus reveals the Father so clearly that He could say, “He that hath seen me hath seen the Father” (John 14:9). The teaching takes us through Moses’ desire to see the glory and face of God, the distinction between knowing God and merely hearing about Him, and the danger of creating a version of God that conforms to our preferences rather than allowing God to reveal Himself as He truly is. Chimdi also examines the difference between rejection and spiritual opposition, emphasizing the importance of responding to rejection according to its proper context rather than confusing human rejection with demonic resistance. The episode challenges believers to develop discernment, rightly divide Scripture, and recognize the character and identity of the God who speaks and leads them. A particularly challenging portion of the episode addresses our desire to “see God.” While Moses asked God to reveal Himself, the Israelites attempted to create a god they could see. The teaching draws a powerful distinction between desiring God to reveal Himself and designing the kind of God we want to see. True relationship with God requires allowing Him to reveal Himself through His Word rather than selectively accepting only the aspects of Scripture that fit our preferences. The episode also presents a profound perspective on spirituality and humanity: before we claim spirituality, we must learn to value and treat human beings with dignity, justice, and compassion. The way we see and treat people is deeply connected to how we understand our relationship with God. Ultimately, the teaching points us to Christ, the answer to humanity’s longing to see God. What Moses could not see in the Old Testament, humanity encountered plainly in Jesus Christ. God came in human form so that mankind could see and know Him. Jesus made the Father conspicuous to the eyes and minds of men. In this episode, discover: • What “lighted” means in John 1:9. • Why Jesus came to make God conspicuously evident. • The connection between God’s face, identity, goodness, and glory. • Why knowing the God who speaks to you is essential for spiritual discernment. • The difference between responding to rejection and confronting spiritual opposition. • Why believers must not create a God according to personal preferences. • The difference between asking God to reveal Himself and asking men to define God for us. • Why the desire to know God ultimately produces the desire to see His face. • How Jesus Christ resolves humanity’s longing to see and know the Father. • Why John 14:9 is central to understanding the revelation of God in Christ. This is more than a study of a single word,it is an invitation to move from hearing about God to knowing Him, from obscurity to revelation, and from merely admiring His glory to recognizing His identity revealed in Jesus Christ. Listen, learn, and share this episode with another believer. WORD EXPLOSION 2026 is available on the GRACELIFECOMI Podcast. Jesus is Lord!

  • Speak to Your Mountain: Don’t Let It Speak to You.
    2026/08/17
DECLARE LIGHT| Prophetic Prayer Session | Speak to Your Mountain | AUGUST 2026| CHIMDI OHAHUNA Welcome to this week’s DECLARE LIGHT Prophetic Prayer Session with Chimdi Ohahuna on the GRACELIFECOMI Podcast. In this powerful session, we meditate on Mark 11:23, where Jesus reveals the extraordinary power of faith-filled words: “Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart…” Mountains represent the obstacles, resistance, limitations, and seemingly impossible situations that confront us. But this session reminds us that God has not called us to be intimidated by mountains. Through faith in His Word, we can speak to what stands before us and command it to move. Chimdi Ohahuna takes us deeper into the language and meaning of Mark 11:23, exploring the significance of words such as “whosoever,” “say,” “removed,” “doubt,” and “believe.” The emphasis is clear: we must not merely speak God’s Word with our mouths; we must remain united with the Word we have spoken and refuse to separate ourselves from it through unbelief. This week’s prophetic prayer is a call to become one with the Word of God we speak, to believe that what God has said is true and to stand firmly upon it until we see the mountain move. Whatever mountain you are facing this week, do not surrender your voice to fear, doubt, or discouragement. Speak the Word. Believe the Word. Stand with the Word. As we pray, may every mountain before us be lifted like a stone and cast away in the name of Jesus! Go forth testifying. Come back testifying. Go forth rejoicing. Come back rejoicing! 🎧 Listen, pray along, and share this episode with someone who needs to confront a mountain with faith. • Not Everyone Is Meant to Go With You | When Purpose Separates People
    2026/08/15
RUTH SERIES | EPISODE 56 | THE PURPOSE THAT DEFINES YOUR RELATIONSHIPS | CHIMDI OHAHUNA In Episode 56 of the RUTH Series on the GRACELIFECOMI Podcast, we continue our journey through Ruth 1:12 and uncover a powerful principle that governs relationships, destiny, and purposeful living: purpose determines association. Naomi understood that what originally connected her to Ruth and Orpah was a specific purpose—their marriages to her sons. Now that those relationships had changed, she challenged them to consider what would continue to connect them. This opens a profound conversation about why people come into our lives, what keeps relationships healthy, and why we must learn to identify the purpose behind every significant association. This episode explores the importance of giving birth to purpose. Purpose is not merely something we wait for God to reveal in one dramatic moment; it is something we must recognize, nurture, pursue, and bring forth through obedience, work, experience, and continuous discovery. Chimdi Ohahuna also examines how misunderstanding purpose can lead to relational abuse, unhealthy expectations, entitlement, wasted time, and misplaced emotional attachments. Whether in marriage, family, friendship, ministry, business, or professional relationships, every person has a unique place and purpose—and those purposes should not be confused or forced into one another. Most importantly, the episode brings us back to the defining moment in Ruth's story: when Naomi's final appeal separates those who are merely attached from the one who is genuinely committed to the journey. Orpah kisses Naomi goodbye, but Ruth clings to her. This episode will challenge you to ask: Why is this person in my life? What connects us? What purpose must I give birth to through this relationship? And who is truly meant to journey with me? Join us for another deeply challenging and illuminating study of the Book of Ruth. Listen. Learn. Examine your relationships. Discover purpose. Give birth to purpose. 🎙️ RUTH SERIES — Episode 56 🎧 GRACELIFECOMI Podcast 📖 Study Focus: Ruth 1:12–14 “Lord, help me to give birth to purpose.” Jesus is Lord.

  • ARE YOU CALLED, OR DID YOU SEND YOURSELF? | Romans Exegesis Ep. 34
    2026/08/14
ROMANS EXEGESIS | EPISODE 34|Discipleship, Apostleship and Commission |CHIMDI and ADEFUNKE OHAHUNA In Episode 34 of the ROMANS EXEGESIS series, Chimdi and Funke Ohahuna continue their detailed journey through Romans 1:5, focusing on the powerful phrase “grace and apostleship” and what it means to be genuinely sent by Christ. This episode takes a deeper look at the meaning of apostleship, particularly the idea of being sent away or commissioned to represent Christ. But before there can be an effective sending, there must first be a process of discipleship and activation. Chimdi and Funke draw lessons from the way Jesus trained His disciples, emphasizing that Jesus spent years depositing truth into them before they were fully commissioned. The discussion highlights the distinction between discipleship, activation, and apostleship, and challenges the modern tendency to rush people into ministry positions without allowing sufficient time for spiritual formation, character development, practical training, and maturity. The episode also explores why theoretical knowledge alone is not enough. True discipleship must produce a practical working knowledge of the Word of God. The hosts examine the importance of mentorship, spiritual formation, learning through practical ministry, and allowing the Holy Spirit to activate what has been deposited through discipleship. A central question emerges throughout the episode: Are we truly sent by Christ—or have we sent ourselves? What does it mean for Christ to trust someone enough to represent Him? Why must discipleship precede apostleship? What is the place of an “activation season”? And how can the Church raise mature believers who carry not merely titles, certificates, or positions, but the very life and character of Christ? Episode 34 is a compelling call to slow down, submit to the process, embrace discipleship, allow God to activate what He has deposited, and become trustworthy representatives of Christ. Join Chimdi and Funke Ohahuna for this challenging and illuminating continuation of the Romans Exegesis journey. • Are You Hot, Cold, or Lukewarm? | The Truth About Grace
    2026/08/12
ROMANS EXEGESIS | EPISODE 33 |GRACE | CHIMDI & ADEFUNKE OHAHUNA What does it really mean to be governed by the grace of God? In this latest episode of ROMANS EXEGESIS on the GRACELIFECOMI Podcast, Chimdi and Funke Ohahuna continue their journey through Romans 1:5, exploring the profound connection between grace, apostleship, spiritual maturity, wisdom, and divine empowerment. Building on the previous episode’s study of the Greek word charis - grace, the discussion goes deeper into what happens when a believer is truly governed by the power of divine grace. Grace is not merely unmerited favour, material prosperity, or permission to live carelessly. Grace is divine empowerment that governs the believer’s spiritual condition and enables them to know what to do, when to do it, and how to respond according to God’s wisdom. The episode takes a fresh look at Jesus’ warning concerning being lukewarm, drawing attention to the significance of being either “hot” or “cold.” The hosts explore the imagery of hot and cold water as representing two useful spiritual expressions: healing and refreshing. The challenge is not simply to be passionate, but to possess the spiritual discernment to know when a situation requires the heat of spiritual power and when it requires the coolness of comfort, consolation, wisdom, and refreshment. Chimdi and Funke also examine the dangers of spiritual lukewarmness, misplaced zeal, and acting without divine wisdom. From moments of grief and emotional pain to situations requiring spiritual confrontation, the episode emphasizes that wisdom knows what is appropriate per time. Grace enables the believer to move beyond religious reactions and respond according to the leading and wisdom of God. The teaching also connects this principle to Christian ministry and assignment. Grace must govern the assignment, because divine empowerment comes before effective kingdom service. Without the governing of grace, believers can experience frustration, burnout, wasted opportunities, damaged relationships, and even unintended harm while attempting to do what they believe is right. This episode is a call to examine your spiritual condition: Are you refreshing? Are you healing? Or have you become lukewarm? Discover how the grace of God gives you the wisdom to discern the times, the power to respond appropriately, and the spiritual maturity to know when to act, when to speak, when to comfort, when to confront, and when to remain silent. • OVERTAKING IS NOT ENOUGH: It’s Time to Recover All
    2026/08/11
WORD FOR AUGUST 2026 | PURSUE, OVERTAKE, RECOVER |When Overtaking Is Not Enough| CHIMDI OHAHUNA What happens when you finally catch up with what you have been pursuing for years? Is the journey over? Not necessarily. In this powerful stand-alone teaching, “RECOVERY, RECOVERY,” Chimdi M. Ohahuna explores the deeper meaning of God’s word in 1 Samuel 30:8: “Pursue, for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.” The teaching reveals an important progression: pursuit leads to overtaking, but overtaking must ultimately lead to recovery. It is possible to pursue for a long time, catch up with what you have been chasing, and still fail to recover what was taken. Therefore, the fulfillment of the pursuit is not merely catching up, it is recovering all. Drawing from the biblical account of David and his pursuit of the Amalekites, this message examines the meaning of recovery as rescue, deliverance, restoration, snatching back, stripping, and reclaiming what has been taken. It challenges believers to understand that some seasons require more than patience; they require renewed determination, spiritual focus, and the willingness to continue until the assignment is completed. But recovery is not merely about personal possessions, dreams, opportunities, or promises. The teaching introduces a greater dimension of recovery: the rescue mission of the believer. We are called not only to recover what concerns us, but also to rescue others from captivity. The church must develop a savior mentality, a mindset that seeks to help, restore, save, and recover what the enemy has taken from others. The teaching also addresses the importance of recovering identity. Before you can effectively recover what has been lost around you, you must understand who you are in Christ. A person who does not know his identity can live beneath his calling and behave like someone who needs to be rescued when God has already positioned him to become a rescuer. At the heart of this message is the call to become a prisoner of hope. Drawing from Zechariah 9:12, the teaching emphasizes the necessity of maintaining unwavering confidence in God throughout the recovery process. Hope in God must become a lifelong commitment, regardless of delays, opposition, setbacks, or the length of the journey. This is a message about restoration, purpose, perseverance, rescue, identity, and faith. If you have ever wondered why the journey has taken so long, why you had to pursue for so many years, or whether the things you once believed God for can still be recovered, this teaching offers a powerful perspective: Overtaking is not the end. Catching up is not the end. The pursuit is not complete until recovery is accomplished. It is time to recover. Jesus is Lord.

  • You Prayed—But Do You Really Believe?
    2026/08/10
DECLARE LIGHT | Prophetic Prayer | believe , Persuasion, Integrity | Chimdi M. Ohahuna Believe God: Your Prayer Will Become a Manifested Reality Welcome to another powerful edition of DECLARE LIGHT, the weekly Prophetic Prayer with Chimdi M. Ohahuna on the GRACELIFECOMI Podcast. This week, we stand firmly on the words of Jesus in Mark 11:23–24, where He teaches us the power of believing when we pray. Jesus makes it clear that faith is not merely asking God for something, it is being persuaded that God’s Word is true and trusting His integrity to fulfill what He has spoken. One of the greatest challenges believers face is praying while battling doubt and unbelief. Circumstances, delays, disappointments, and the pressures of life can make us question whether God’s promises are really true. But this week’s prophetic prayer calls us back to the foundation of faith: believe God! We explore the meaning of the biblical word for “believe,” emphasizing the idea of thinking God’s Word to be true, being persuaded by His promises, and placing our confidence in Him. The enemy may attack our minds with doubt, but we are called to intentionally renew our minds and remain persuaded that God is faithful. As we pray this week, we declare that we will believe God irrespective of our circumstances. We will trust His Word, stand upon His promises, and remain convinced that He is not a man that He should lie. We believe that the prayers we have prayed will become manifested realities according to His Word and purpose. This week, believe God. Believe His Word. Believe His promises. Remain persuaded. And go forth expecting your testimony! Go into this week rejoicing, return rejoicing, go forth testifying, and come back with testimonies, in the precious name of Jesus. • Capernaum : When Everything Goes Wrong While You’re Doing Right
    2026/08/08
BIBLE STUDY| MIRACLES OF JESUS SERIES.|THE FIFTH MIRACLE OF JESUS pt.42 | THE POWER OF RETREAT|JESUS WALKING ON WATER|CHRISTIAN SPIRITUALITY / FAITH & DISCIPLESHIP| CHIMDI OHAHUNA When the Waves Rise on Your Journey to Capernaum What happens when you are doing the right thing, yet everything around you seems to be going wrong? In this powerful episode of the Miracles of Jesus Bible Study on the GRACELIFECOMI Podcast, we continue our study of the fifth miracle of Jesus, Jesus Walking on Water, through John 6:17 and Matthew 14:24. The disciples were sailing toward Capernaum when the sea became turbulent and the waves began tossing their ship. This episode takes a deeper look at Capernaum, exploring its significance as a picture of comfort, security, rest, and safety, and what it means for the believer to journey toward the place God has prepared. You will discover that sometimes the waves are not evidence that you are on the wrong path. The waves may be rising because you are on your way to your destination. The teaching challenges believers not to interpret opposition, pressure, delay, or difficult circumstances as proof that God has abandoned them. The episode also explores the believer's spiritual Capernaum in Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit, a place of security and comfort in God. Drawing from Romans 10:9–10, Hebrews 9:7, 2 Corinthians 5:21, John 14:16, and John 10:10, the teaching examines how the finished work of Christ gives the believer spiritual security and how the abundant life of Christ is intended to manifest beyond the spiritual realm. Most importantly, this episode is a call to pray before and during the journey. Prayer does not necessarily remove every wave immediately, but it keeps the believer calm, composed, and anchored in the assurance that Jesus is with them. You will also be challenged to identify the “waves” that may be preventing people from coming fully into Christ, whether through relationships, finances, accommodation, mindsets, addictions, career pressures, or other forms of bondage, and to intercede for those whose spiritual journey is being hindered. The message is simple but profound: if Jesus is in your boat, the waves do not have the final word. As you listen, ask yourself: What area of my life is still on the sea? Where do I need to enter my “Capernaum”, a place of God-given security, comfort, and rest? Join us for this deeply practical and faith-stirring study, and let us pray our way through the waves until we arrive at the destination God has prepared. Listen. Learn. Pray. Believe. Arrive. 🎙️ Miracles of Jesus , Season 5, Episode 42 🎧 GRACELIFECOMI Podcast 📖 A Bible study journey into the miracles, ministry, and message of Jesus Christ. Jesus is Lord!
