He created & ran the live music competition series Nashville Star, which launched the careers of country music stars Miranda Lambert & Chris Young. For Nat Geo, Verschoor also executive produced the hit investigative series Border Wars and created and ran the adventure doc series Die Trying and the off-the-grid cabin building series Building Wild.
