  • Connecting With People
    2022/09/24

In this podcast episode, I discuss how connecting with people is the most rewarding aspect of doing the podcast. In addition, I read three stories that had been submitted. In one, a person vents about problems with their family and how their mother doesn't understand their gender dysmorphia; in another, a person seeks advice for their narcissistic tendencies and violent thoughts; and in the third, a listener asks for advice on how to avoid going back to the psychiatric ward.

  • Work Is Not Your Life Part 1
    2022/09/09

I discuss how your life shouldn't revolve entirely around your job in this podcast episode. I was a shift manager at McDonald's for five years, and I talk about the pressure and stress of the job and how it affected my mental health.

  • Signs That Someone Is Depressed
    2022/08/19

On this week's podcast, I discuss the terrible tragedy of McKenna Brown, a 16-year-old high school student who tragically committed suicide after being subjected to cyberbullying and abuse from peers, as well as the warning signs of depression and how to support others who may be suffering from it. Also, I read two listener stories: one in which the individual stated to have a great life but yet desired for it to end; the other was a person who self-harmed and believes they can not be saved.

  • Seeking Help
    2022/08/10

In this week's episode, I discuss when people who are experiencing mental health problems should seek support. I don't mean seeing a therapist because therapy doesn't always work, but talking to someone, anyone, might be the best course of action. Additionally, I include Jason from the podcast Jason's Hot Takes, Franky McCarthy, Boy NBN, and Zama K, all of whom are associated with the Records Broken music label, which is based in Newcastle, South Africa. They all leave me voice messages in which they express their opinions on mental health. This week, I specifically focused on one story from a man who was being manipulated by a girl despite not having any support from his family.

    2022/08/05

  • Am I The Problem? Part 1
    2022/07/27

On this week's episode of the podcast, I reflect back on two of my close friendships. At one point, I considered these men to be brothers; but, issues arose, and we all drifted apart. Was it my fault that these friendships broke down? Were they at fault? Or was it a combination of the two? I also read more gripping stories that listeners submitted.
