Today we speak with siblings Sarah & Jeff Teets from MindMaze, a four piece progressive/power metal band from the Lehigh Valley, PA. Since their formation in 2012, they've released 3 full-length albums as well as some singles and an EP that fuse elements of hard rock, traditional metal, progressive metal and power metal together to create a unique sound. The band has focused on delivering 100% live, high energy performances filled with spontaneity. They've toured all over the US and Canada, including performing at the famed Whisky A-Go-Go in Los Angeles and legendary niche festival ProgPower USA in Atlanta. The band is currently working on their 4th full-length album due out in 2025.

In Feb.1978, Eddie received a phone call from veteran songwriter/producer Billy Carlucci, (Lesley Gore, 1910 Fruitgum Co., The Pixies Three) asking Eddie to recruit a backup band to go on tour with Danny and The Juniors. After meeting with Carlucci, and Joe Terry of the act, rehearsals were begun, but the deal fell thru. Months later, Frank Zangari, keyboardist for The Orlons, had forwarded Eddie’s materials to Philadelphia theatrical agent, Norman Joyce, of The Jolly Joyce Agency, offering Eddie a slot as drummer and musical director for an upcoming tour with The Drifters. In this interview, Eddie gives a sneak-peak at a story from his upcoming memoir regarding his six months on tour with The Drifters.
