I had the pleasure of spending the day at one of the many 'Girls in Aviation' day events, this one hosted by the Capital Region Chapter of Women in Aviation International taking place in the hangar of Signature Flight Support at Reagan National airport in Washington, D.C. During my livestream broadcast, I was joined by guest co-hosts Ruth-Ann Sutherland, a Trip Service Specialist at Grandview Aviation who recently completed her Air Traffic Controller studies at the Community College of Baltimore County, and Mia Anderson, a 18-year old Private Pilot with both single engine land and glider certifications as well as the founder of the non-profit, Air Ambition.
