• 224 // Ashamed and Asking, “Does God Still Love Me When I Sin?” The Grace That Secures God’s Love for You
    2026/03/24

Does God still love me when I sin?

If you’ve been trying to earn God’s love through doing everything “right,” a mistake can feel devastating. It’s not just about the sin itself—it’s the fear that you’ve failed to earn or keep God’s love. That fear often leads to shame, guilt, anxiety, and even hopelessness.

👉🏻 But the truth is this: you were never meant to carry the weight of trying to earn God’s love.

In this episode, we talk about the grace that secures God’s love for you—and why your sin doesn’t disqualify you from His love.

    🌷 You’ll hear:

    • Why trying to earn God’s love makes sin feel spiritually devastating
    • The difference between religious performance and God’s grace
    • Why Jesus’ sacrifice covers every sin—not just the “smaller” ones
    • How God views us through Jesus once we place our faith in Him

I also share a personal story about a season when my own choices led to one of the biggest spiritual mistakes I’ve ever made: turning away from God.

If you’ve been carrying shame or trying to prove yourself to God, this episode will help you begin releasing that weight and rediscovering the security of His grace.

💗 And if you’re ready to continue that journey, I invite you to join Relate Escape Place (https://www.relateescape.com/membership), a space created to help women move from shame and performance into a healing, loving relationship with God.

  • 223 // Wondering “Who Am I to God?”: Why You Were Created For A Loving Relationship, Not Performance
    2026/03/17

Who am I to God? Why did He create me? And what does that mean for my purpose?

At their core, these are identity questions. And because God created you, your identity is ultimately rooted in Him. Which means that to understand who you are, you first need to understand who God truly is.

But if you’ve been striving to earn His love or feeling crushed under religious expectations, you may quietly wonder why God feels so demanding—or why you were created at all when everything feels heavy and hopeless.

👉🏻 In this episode, we explore the biblical truth that God’s primary focus has never been performance. It’s always been relationship.

    🌱 We look at:

    • What it means that you were created in God’s image
    • Why God’s presence in the Garden of Eden reveals His relational heart
    • How Genesis 3:14–15 shows that God always had a loving plan to restore relationship through Jesus
    • Why the cross was about restoring connection—not demanding perfection

💘 You were not created to perform for God. You were created for a loving relationship with Him.

P.S. If you’re ready to move from striving to a loving relationship with God, I invite you to join Relate Escape Place (https://www.RelateEscape.com/Membership). It was created to help women transition from performance-based faith into a secure, biblical relationship—where your identity is anchored in God’s love.

  • 222 // Does God’s Love Lessen When He Feels Distant? The Comforting Biblical Truth You Need to Know
    2026/03/10

Does God’s love lessen when He feels distant?

When God feels far away, it’s easy to assume we’ve done something wrong. Maybe we haven’t prayed enough. Haven’t been “good” enough. Haven’t measured up. Or maybe we quietly fear that God is fickle, harsh, or disappointed—and that His love has somehow been withdrawn.

👉🏻 But here’s the biblical truth you need to know: God’s love is rooted in His character, not your performance.

In this episode, I share about a recent season when God felt distant to me. I began questioning whether I was doing enough or being enough. But I came to realize something important: God hadn’t moved away from me. On top of which, He had actually rescued me.

💓 We’ll also look at Scripture and what it reveals about God’s covenant love:

    • Why God’s love is a binding, faithful commitment
    • What Sarah’s doubt teaches us about God’s promises
    • How the Israelites’ disobedience in the wilderness didn’t cancel God’s covenant
    • Why feelings of distance do not equal a decrease in love

📖 Throughout the Bible, we see a consistent pattern: God remains faithful even when His people doubt, struggle, or fall short. His love does not fluctuate with your emotions—or your performance.

You haven’t failed. God’s love hasn’t lessened. And the truth is far more comforting than fear would have you believe.

  • 221 // Exhausted From Trying to Be a “Good Enough” Christian? Why God Isn’t Asking for That
    2026/03/03

Do you feel worn out from trying to be a “good” Christian?

Maybe you’ve been striving to please God, earn His affection, or live up to what you’ve been told a “good” Christian woman should be. But instead of feeling joyful and secure in God’s love, you feel exhausted—or even hopeless.

In this episode, I unpack why God isn’t asking for religious performance or perfection – and how it actually blocks the intimacy He desires to have with us (and we with Him).

    💫 We’ll also look at:

    • Why God’s primary desire is relationship—not performance
    • What Moses’ resistance reveals about God’s definition of “good enough”
    • How Jesus’ relationship with Mary Magdalene dismantles religious perfectionism
    • Why the Bible would read very differently if God required perfection

    🌿 You’ll walk away with:

    • A practical reflection exercise to help you identify where you’re striving
    • Biblical truth to counter the fear of not being good enough
    • An invitation to receive God’s love without performance

👉🏻 If you’d like ongoing encouragement to let go of religious striving and grow in a deeper relationship with God, I invite you to join my Tender Tuesday email list (https://relate-escape.kit.com/godlovesme).

  • 220 // Why Hearing that God Loves You Sometimes Isn’t Enough (and What Actually Heals the Heart)
    2026/02/24

You can believe that God loves you—and still struggle to truly feel it.

In this episode, I explore why hearing the phrase “God loves you” isn’t always enough to heal the heart, especially for women who've lived through abuse, trauma, or spiritually unsafe environments.

I share personally how even after coming to faith, and even after growing in biblical knowledge, there were seasons when my nervous system and emotions didn’t align with the truth I believed. I knew God loved me—but parts of me still didn’t feel safe enough to receive it. And in certain seasons, letting God love me in new ways felt surprisingly hard.

    💫 We’ll talk about:

    • Why knowledge alone doesn’t always lead to healing
    • How trauma and survival patterns can block even holy, safe love
    • Why real love requires safety—not pressure
    • How God gently helps the heart and body relearn what love truly feels like

🥰 I’ll also share two practical steps to help you begin receiving God’s love more deeply, including a simple reflection exercise and an invitation into Relate Escape Place (https://www.relateescape.com/membership)—a safe, faith-centered community built to mirror how God loves: with patience, compassion, and truth.

Healing is a process. But God’s love is not only real—it’s safe, and it’s powerful enough to heal the heart.

  • 219 // Afraid to Be Yourself With God? Why His Unconditional Love Makes Authenticity Safe
    2026/02/17

Have you ever felt like you need to be careful around God? Like it’s not safe to fully be yourself—especially if you come from a religious background where God was portrayed as harsh, judgmental, or distant?

In this episode, we talk about why that fear didn’t come from God—and how His unconditional love actually makes authenticity safe.

I share personally how both abuse and cultural messages taught me to be smaller, quieter, and less than. And yet, God has never treated me that way. He’s never asked for perfection—only my presence. His love doesn’t diminish who we are; it transforms us into who we were always created to be.

We’ll also look at the biblical story of Hannah and how her raw honesty before God wasn’t rejected or punished—but honored. God met her authenticity with compassion, blessing, and purpose, raising her into a calling only He could give her.

💫 In this episode, you’ll learn:

    • Why fear works against the closeness your heart longs for
    • How God’s unconditional love creates safety, not shame
    • What Hannah’s story reveals about authenticity and God’s response
    • Why being yourself with God isn’t a risk—it’s an invitation

💓 I’ll also share how Relate Escape Place is designed to be a safe, faith-centered space where you can be yourself, grow in biblical truth, and experience God’s love alongside women who truly understand your journey.

  • 218 // Feeling Unloved This Valentine’s Day? Why God’s Love Has Always Chosen You–and Always Will
    2026/02/10

Valentine’s Day can be incredibly tender — especially if you’re feeling lonely, unseen, or unloved.

Maybe comparison feels unavoidable. Maybe grief, numbness, or resentment is closer than joy. Or maybe you’re longing to be chosen, cherished, and adored — by God, by others, or by a partner who isn’t there.

In this episode, I want to gently remind you of a deeper truth: you have been chosen — and you always will be.

💫 In This Episode, I Share:

    • Why Valentine’s Day can intensify feelings of loneliness and unworthiness
    • How unmet longing in relationships can shape how we see ourselves and God
    • My own experience of not being loved or cherished by my father or ex-husband — and how God has never treated me that way
    • Why God doesn’t just feel love, but is love (1 John 4:16)
    • Biblical stories of women who felt unseen and unloved — and how God met them with tenderness, clarity, and care
    • How Valentine’s Day can become an invitation into God’s love rather than a verdict about your worth

💗 Your worth has never been determined by whether someone chose you. God’s love has always chosen you — and nothing about this day can change that.

  • 217 // Feeling Hopeless About Your Life? Why God’s Love Is Your Source of True Hope
    2026/02/03

If you’re feeling hopeless — about your life, your circumstances, or your relationship with God — you’re not alone.

Maybe life feels stuck and you can’t see how things will ever change. Or maybe you feel hopeless because no matter how hard you try, you can’t seem to be “good enough” for God. The world tells us hope comes from better circumstances. Religion tells us hope comes from getting everything right. But the Bible tells a very different story.

💫 In This Episode, I Share:

    • Why hope doesn’t come from circumstances or performance
    • How God became my source of hope during a deeply unstable and painful marriage
    • The story of God freeing the Israelites from Egypt — and what it reveals about His character
    • Why God sometimes leads us through a longer path to heal what hopelessness has shaped inside us
    • How growing in relationship with God transforms the way we experience hope and life itself

🙌 True hope isn’t something you create — it’s something you receive. And it’s rooted in God’s love for you, not your ability to hold everything together.
