Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

When God created Adam, He gave him all the power to rule and have dominion over everything in this world. Then the Lord Jesus came along and said all power in Heaven and Earth is given to Him. Then He commissioned us to go into all the world, giving us all the power over the enemy to subdue him.

As far as God is concerned, He's given us all the power and authority that we need to dominate in this world. If you read a few verses before, you will see that Herod had just killed James and had now moved to arrest Peter so he could kill him next. This time the Church woke up and prayed without ceasing. They exercised their responsibility to pray and enact the will of God over the situation. You have the responsibility of enacting the will of God. Just like the church prayed and unleashed the forces of Heaven to rescue Peter from jail, pray and unleash the forces of Heaven in your life.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

I decree and declare God's will over my life. I exercise my authority to dominate in every area of my life. I deploy angels to minister healing to my body and to bring financial resources to me in Jesus' Name! Amen.

And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up onto a mountain apart to pray: and when evening had come, He was there alone.

During the time of the Lord Jesus’ ministration in this world, you’ll notice that ever so often He would retreat to the mountains to find peace and quiet so that He could spend time in prayer. He would remove Himself from the hustle and bustle of people around so that He could recharge. He would return full of power, performing ridiculous miracles, casting out demons, and commanding storms to cease.

How often do you recharge your spirit, if at all? These moments of quiet fellowship with the Holy Spirit are very important to your spiritual growth and acquaintance with Him. I'm not talking about prayer time full of requests. This is just to fellowship. Psalm 46:10 says, "Be still and know that He is God." You get enveloped with great peace that surpasses understanding so that when you step out, you can command your environment to be still because you will be pulling out what is in you, just like the Lord Jesus calmed the storm. Make it a point to have frequent downtime sessions in prayer.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

I command peace and calm in my life. Regardless of the chaos around me, I remain steadfast, rooted in the Word of God, and energized by the power of the Holy Ghost!

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

As a born-again child of God, you immediately became a citizen of Zion. This Kingdom operates by its own set of rules so alien that the Bible says they’re foolishness to non-citizens. That means there is much to learn about this new Kingdom.

Whilst it's imperative that we learn the code of conduct so that we take full advantage of the benefits that come with it, we also have a duty to be well acquainted with the Kingdom's principles, how it operates, and why it is necessary to be a citizen of it. This knowledge allows you to share this message of the hour and defend your faith where it's challenged. The moment you received the Lord Jesus Christ, you became a candidate for the commission to go into the world. Therefore, it is necessary for you to study the Word and show yourself as a scholar of the Word. As you do so, you also unleash the power within you!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

I am a scholar of the Word. I have quickness of apprehension of the Word and a keen ability to articulate to those I share the Good News with. As I go deeper in the Word, my territory is enlarged in Jesus' Name!

Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.

Look at that: we have access to the biggest bank, and it's recession-proof! It has all the high-tech, state-of-the-art security features that no thief dares to break in. Back in 2008, the world experienced a massive global recession and people suffered a wide range of losses which included life savings that were held in banks.

But we're not of this world. We have privileged access to the all-secure heavenly financial institution to store up our treasures—treasures in Heaven through our giving to the work of the Kingdom. It's an investment with extremely high returns and guaranteed security from the devourer. Not only do you get high returns, but your heart follows along with your treasure in the heavens. That means you automatically give your heart to God together with your treasure. Now, when your heart is with God, that provokes Him to respond in ways beyond your imagination. So make it a culture to store up your treasure in Heaven!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

I'm a platinum card-carrying member of the Bank of Heaven; I'm a serial depositor; giving is my culture; I'm a Kingdom addict, and my withdrawals will be immeasurable in Jesus' Name! Amen.

2 Corinthians 9:7-8

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

You might be surprised and even complain that people always come to you to fix their problems, borrow money, or ask for advice when you've already got enough of your own issues to fix.

I want you to look at the second part of today’s verse. It likens us to a city on a hill which cannot be hidden. You see, you can’t hide when the blessings of God begin to manifest in your life. It even says, "Let your profiting appear to all!" (1 Timothy 4:15). A city functions as a centre for business, a source for everyday needs, etc. People will travel to the cities to earn a living. Do you see where this is going?

Don’t be surprised when people come to you for help; you’re like a city to them as you are plugged into Christ, who is the primary source of our light and livelihood. They see you as a solution centre, so be the Joseph of your family and lead them out of poverty!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

I am the light of the world. I am a solution centre. I am the one leading my generation out of poverty, and they will come to know the God I serve because of what they witness in my life in Jesus' Name!

That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

It’s good to have regular talking sessions with yourself. You’re your own coach, player, and cheerleader. Tell yourself that you’re a success, you’re rich, you have divine health, you’re the real deal!

The scripture above is so potent and requires you to pay close attention. It tells us that the communication of your faith becomes effective as you recognize and have full knowledge of every good thing that is already in you in Christ Jesus. Stay with me one minute. That word 'communication' is koinonia, which means fellowship, participation, intimacy. The word 'effectual' is energēs, which means to be energized. And lastly, the word 'acknowledge' is epignōsis, which is full and precise revelation knowledge. In other words, your faith springs into action as you fully acknowledge what is already in you the moment you got born again.

So, start telling yourself what the Word says about you concerning a particular thing. Look into that mirror and tell yourself that you have the mind of Christ, the mind of the Extraordinary Strategist; you can never fail whatever you put your mind to!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

I acknowledge every good thing in me in Christ, and I am boldly exercising my faith. I talk big; I walk big because I am big in Jesus’ Name!

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine, but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Did you know that you walk around with a state-of-the-art medical facility in your body? Everything you ever need is right there with you—even the cure to any disease imaginable. So the question is, are you sick? The Bible here tells us that laughter is the best medicine. But this is not just any kind of laughter; this is the joy of the Lord. This type of joy is not dependent on the happenings around you but stems from your spirit.

The Bible also says, "The joy of the Lord is my strength" (Nehemiah 8:10). You get your strength from the joy that stems from the Lord. It also says, “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice” (Philippians 4:4). Too many times, the Bible tells us not to worry but to rejoice because it is vital for your wellbeing. It’s literally like medicine.

The devil knows all he has to do is chip away your joy, and he takes away your strength. Stand fast on the promises of God, rejoicing evermore, and you will always have peace that surpasses all understanding whilst restoring your body!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

The joy of the Lord is my strength. Nothing in this world will take away my joy. My body is rejuvenated as I rejoice in the Lord. Hallelujah!

1 Corinthians 2:16 (KJV)

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

This scripture is mind-blowing when you try to comprehend what is being said here. It starts with the question, "Who has known the mind of the Lord? How can anyone know the mind of Christ, the One who created everything seen and unseen?"

But don't get stuck on the question mark because it goes on to say that we have the mind of Christ! If that doesn't get you jumping around shouting hallelujah, then I don't know what will! You HAVE the mind of Christ. You already have it! You are not studying the mind of Christ so that you can understand it, no. Now, you are studying Him so that you know the potential that you have and use it. Imagine the mind that created the Heavens and the Earth out of nothing, the One who walked on water, opened blind eyes, cast out demons, raised the dead, plus, plus, plus—that mind is in you. Awaken to that reality and you will be an unstoppable force, a spiritual juggernaut!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

I have the mind of Christ. I awaken to that reality. I am an unstoppable force. I am crushing through any challenge or obstacle that stands in my way in Jesus' Name!
