    Title: Think-ful

    Speaker: Stacey Carver

    Scripture References: Psalm 100:1-5, 2 Timothy 3:1-5, Psalm 95:2, Psalm 107:1, 2 Chronicles 20:21, Psalm 150:6, 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Are you half-full or half-empty? The way we choose to see our lives—through gratitude or grumbling—makes all the difference. Psalm 100:4 invites us to “enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.” Thanksgiving isn’t just a polite gesture; it’s a powerful posture of faith that brings us closer to God.

In contrast, 2 Timothy 3:1-5 warns of a generation filled with ungrateful hearts, highlighting the dangers of focusing on what’s missing instead of what’s given. But Psalm 107:1 reminds us to “give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” Gratitude shifts our focus from ourselves to God’s goodness and faithfulness.

When King Jehoshaphat sent singers ahead of the army to praise God in 2 Chronicles 20:21, the battle was won not by their strength, but by their thanksgiving. And Psalm 150:6 declares, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!” Thanksgiving fuels praise, and praise changes the atmosphere.

So today, don’t hold back. Get a little louder with your thanksgiving. Let your heart and mouth reflect the fullness of God’s blessings. As 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Let’s be think-ful people, choosing gratitude in every moment!

    Title: Show You the Way

    Speaker: Stacey Carver

    Scripture References: Acts 26:1-32, Philippians 3:8, 1 Peter 3:15, Isaiah 61:1, 2 Corinthians 7:10

    DATE: 11-20-24

Life is filled with decisions, crossroads, and challenges that leave us asking, "What do I do next?" The good news is that we’re not left to figure it out on our own. John 16:13 reminds us that the Holy Spirit is our guide, leading us into all truth. He doesn’t push, rush, or confuse us like the enemy does; instead, He gently leads us in the right direction, step by step.

In moments when the way isn’t clear, remember this: “If the Holy Spirit isn’t speaking, don’t move!” Proverbs 15:22 teaches us the value of seeking godly counsel, and 1 Kings 19:11-13 shows us that God often speaks in the still, small voice—not in chaos or pressure. The enemy will try to rush you, but the Spirit invites you to wait, listen, and follow His timing.

Ephesians 1:13 reminds us that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit, and John 14:17 assures us that He dwells within us. The Spirit’s guidance is not only trustworthy but deeply personal. Don’t get ahead of Him. Trust His Rhema word—the timely, specific word God speaks to your heart—and let Him show you the way.

Today, let’s learn to follow the Spirit’s leading with patience and trust, knowing that His way is always perfect.

  • The Power of a Testimony

Title: The Power of a Testimony

    Speaker: Stacey Carver

    Scripture References: Acts 26:1-32, Philippians 3:8, 1 Peter 3:15, Isaiah 61:1, 2 Corinthians 7:10

    DATE: 11-17-24

A testimony is one of the most powerful tools God has given us. It’s not just a story; it’s a declaration of His work in our lives. In Acts 26, we see Paul boldly sharing his testimony before King Agrippa. His words are not about defending himself but glorifying God, showing how Jesus transformed him from a persecutor of Christians into a passionate follower of Christ.

Philippians 3:8 reminds us of the value of knowing Christ, calling it “the surpassing worth.” When we testify, we share that priceless treasure with others. As Isaiah 61:1 declares, we are called to bring good news, heal the brokenhearted, and set captives free.

1 Peter 3:15 encourages us to always be ready to explain the hope we’ve found in Jesus. Our testimony is that explanation, pointing others to the life-changing power of His grace. And as 2 Corinthians 7:10 reminds us, godly sorrow leads to repentance and salvation. Sharing how God has worked in our brokenness can lead others to find healing in Him.

Your testimony matters. It’s a weapon against darkness, a light for the lost, and a testament to God’s faithfulness. Let’s embrace the power of a testimony today and be bold in sharing the hope we’ve found in Jesus!

  • This is My Story! You’ve Got to Testify!

Title: This is My Story! You’ve Got to Testify!

    Speaker: Stacey Carver

    Scripture References: John 4:39-42, Revelation 12:11, Psalm 91, 1 Peter 2:9

    DATE: 11-10-24

There’s power in a testimony! Each of us has a story—God’s story within us of redemption, healing, forgiveness, and victory. John 4:39-42 tells us about a woman whose testimony brought an entire town to meet Jesus. Her story of an encounter with the Messiah turned her past shame into a message of hope. Similarly, Revelation 12:11 reminds us that we overcome the enemy “by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony.” We’re here today to declare that we’ve been washed clean, restored, and made new by the blood of Jesus. We’re here to say, “This is my story!”

  • A House Divided Cannot Stand

Title: A House Divided Cannot Stand

    Speaker: Stacey Carver

    Scripture References: 1 Timothy 2:1-4, Mark 3:25, 2 Thessalonians 3:10, Isaiah 59:19, Proverbs 21:1, Numbers 13:1-2, Proverbs 22:7, Psalm 106:13-43, Romans 1:18-19

    DATE: 11-03-24

Jesus said in Mark 3:25, “If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.” This timeless truth speaks to the heart of any nation, community, or family. It points to the critical need for unity and a shared purpose under God’s guidance. Today, America faces deep divisions, and like Rome, it risks being destroyed from within. As we examine our nation’s condition, we are reminded of the importance of godly leadership, personal responsibility, and the dangers of forgetting God.

We need His direction and truth now more than ever. A house divided cannot stand, and a nation that forsakes God’s principles invites turmoil. But we have hope in Christ, who is the unifying foundation that strengthens individuals, families, and nations. Our response to the times we live in is to pray for godly leadership, seek unity under God’s truth, take responsibility in our lives, reject foolish influences, and remember God’s faithfulness.

  • Wake Up! It Matters Who Leads
    2024/10/31

Title: Wake Up! It Matters Who Leads

    Speaker: Stacey Carver

    Scripture References: Romans 13:11-14, 1 Timothy 2:1-4, Ephesians 6:12, Ephesians 4:11, Proverbs 21:1, Isaiah 45:1, Micah 5:2, 2 Chronicles 7:11-16

    DATE: 10-30-24

Today’s message is simple but urgent: Wake up! Romans 13:11-14 tells us, “And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber.” It’s a call to spiritual awareness and engagement. This message is especially timely when it comes to the leaders we choose. Who leads us matters deeply, not only in government but also in our homes, communities, and churches. God’s design for leadership is essential for His people’s well-being and for fulfilling His purposes on earth. Voting is an opportunity for Christians to reflect God's values in our communities and in positions of influence. When we’re engaged, alert, and prayerful about who leads, we uphold God’s principles. But it requires intentional effort, prayer, and discernment. As we explore Scripture, we’ll see the importance of waking up, taking action, and ensuring that godly people are placed in authority.

    DATE: 10-27-24

Have you ever felt like someone was rubbing you the wrong way, like sandpaper on your soul? When someone hurts or offends us, the temptation to hold on to that hurt can be strong. But holding on to bitterness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to suffer. This is exactly how the enemy wants us to respond—he baits us with offense, hoping we’ll take hold of it and let bitterness grow in our hearts. Today, let’s talk about recognizing the devil’s bait, learning to forgive, and walking in the love of God.
