I tried to find optimal health in all the wrong places - diet after diet and health trend after health trend. Even my doctor and pediatrician couldn’t give me the answers I was looking for. I desperately wanted confidence and freedom in my health but felt like I could never actually attain it. I was constantly afraid that I was making the wrong decisions for my kids; however, I didn’t trust everything the healthcare system told me. I didn’t know where to turn. On top of that, I wasted so much money on supplements that didn’t work and fitness plans I couldn’t stick to. I finally realized that if I were to find freedom, I would need to educate myself. I needed to find strategies to help me reach my goals and interpret all the medical jargon I felt inadequate to understand. I created a system to help me save time in the kitchen and prepare healthy meals for my family, as well as strategies around deciphering the truth amongst all the confusing healthcare narratives. This brought clarity to my decisions and gave me the help I needed to actually stick to my goals and reach them. And now I’m ready to share it with you! If you are ready to break free from feelings of inadequacy - no more anxiety or fear because you don’t know what to do….find time for the things that are important to you - like your family’s health...learn healthy meal hacks, and find solutions with results for your health that you can see - like better sleep, more energy, and weight loss - this podcast is for you!   • 4 - Three Ways Fear Affects Your Health and Simple Hacks to Live Free

    We’re diving into a topic today that’s so close to my heart: the fear factor around health. With all the warnings and advice out there, it’s easy to get wrapped up in worry – but fear can actually mess with our health, both mentally and physically! In this episode, we’re exploring three ways fear can make you sick and confused and, just as importantly, three ways to break free and reclaim your peace.

    Here’s what you’ll get in today’s episode:

    • Why fear sells and how constant exposure to fear-based messaging is impacting our physical health.
    • How adrenaline and cortisol (those “stress hormones”) can wreak havoc on digestion, gut health, and even our decision-making abilities when we’re in a constant state of worry.
    • The reality behind “orthorexia nervosa” – a fixation on "clean" eating that leads to stress and burnout.
    • My favorite way to interrupt fear’s hold: the Stop, Drop, and Roll method. Yep, just like they teach for fire safety! I’ll walk you through this simple process to get back to a calm, clear-headed place whenever fear creeps in.
