  • Episode 27: Remembering Johnny Gaudreau
    2024/08/31

Summer break is over, we.are.back. We were already planning on recording an episode and then the tragic news that Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew died Thursday night while riding their bicycles in a case of drunk driving, so our plan of course changed. All four of the boys send their thoughts and prayers to the Gaudreau family, teammates and friends during this tough time. Don't Drink and Drive. After the guys remember Johnny for the outstanding hockey player that he was they stay with hockey but talk about the rookie trades that have happened in the last week, first with Rutger McGroarty and then Yaroslav Askarov. In the second half the show the guys talk straight NFL with the new contract to wide receivers Brandon Aiyuk and CeeDee Lamb before Justin goes through the Patriots schedule and how he thinks they could be a playoff team. Finally the guys wrap it up with Fantasy Football talk as their draft is next Tuesday evening.

It’s June which means we’re nearing the end of the primetime sports calendar as both series leading teams in the NHL and NBA finals have a 3-0 stranglehold on their opponent.
