  • Niddah Hug with Shifra Tauber
    2024/09/16

Shifra Tauber started the Instagram page Need a Hug to inspire and connect women in their observance of Taharas Hamishpacha. The motivation behind the page came from a conversation with a friend who expressed jealousy over Shifra's ability to keep the mitzvah in its entirety. Shifra wanted to find a positive connection to Taharas Hamishpacha and decided to create an Instagram page to share inspirational, motivational, and funny content related to the mitzvah. The page quickly gained popularity and Shifra receives messages from followers who find comfort and inspiration in her posts. She emphasizes that Taharas Hamishpacha is a mitzvah entrusted to women and encourages them to embrace the challenges and find beauty in the observance.

You may think this conversation is only for married women, but Shifra talks about common thoughts and misconceptions that many single women have surrounding this mitzvah.

Besides for the Instagram page she also has a website where she sells the cutest Taharas Hamishpacha related merchandise.
