  • It’s hard being a parent - and saying that is most definitely an understatement.  It’s also really hard being a teenager - especially will all of the challenges they have faced over the past year with the pandemic.  In Malvern, tucked away beside the Chester Valley Trail, we have a truly wonderful place that exists to support teens who are feeling overwhelmed with emotional, mental and behavioral struggles.  The Center for Families runs a day treatment program for teens, that is open year round.  They work with their families to create a safe, nurturing and integrated approach that restores healthy, authentic connection to teens’ lives.  Today I’m talking with Lizzie McCarron, the director at Center for Families about what parents can do when their child is struggling and how the Center works with teens and families to bring everyone back to a place of healing.
