    How is a miracle made? When there is a huge problem that only God can solveOften times, God will lead us into a place where we can get an birds-eye view of the “problem” or situation … in hopes that we can see His calling for us to act, His calling for us to change, His prompting for us to believe. Then He begins to stir up boldness and courage, and strength in order for us to do what He’s told us to do. All this is what I love about Him! He’s planning things and working even in ways that are usually overlooked. However, once we actually soften our hearts to align ourselves to Him… these situations can get better but they still need a miracle. And its then when HE WOWS us!!! He was doing a complete work!Not just one to help solve the problem or bring a solution… but He was really after was our hearts. In this episode, we talk about how we’ve seen God use hard situations to WOW us with a miracle, AND at the same time work on hearts in the process.     We had hit rock bottom with our finances and we knew that ONLY GOD could save us from this mess we had made. And we turned to prayer and worship… probably to some extremes 😬In this episode, you’ll hear how we anointed our house, burned our credit card bills 🔥 and if we had burlap I’m sure we would’ve used it to roll in ashes lol. However God saw our hearts and we were just truly sorry for getting into this mess and we wanted to do whatever necessary to get back in God’s favor. We didn’t know that God is a merciful God and that He would “chase the 99” … at that time we still believed that we needed to DO, instead of BE. This is a fun episode – hope you enjoy!

    Did He really say Yes to this path? … then why did it go so wrong?Hear how we stumbled as we learned that God WAS guiding our steps, and He did say YES! However, could it have been a “Yes I want you to do this… however, you should prepare yourselves for what’s to come?” We leaped into the YES without counting the cost. Without thinking ahead. Without a plan and asking for advice. Was He wrong with His yes? No! However, looking back we could have asked: how would You like us to do this? We could’ve researched to see who else had gone before us with a similar idea/thing and how did it go for them? At the end, we dove right in. I know He loves our courage and boldness. We could’ve used some wisdom and understanding at the moment. But He didn’t leave us. He was right there the whole time as we made a huge mess. Have you ever made a mess from “His yes”?

    Here’s a semi-full version of our roller coaster finance story and how God has freed us from a poverty mindset, performance-based Christianity, and taught us how to RECEIVE His gifts and learn to live in a posture of gratitude.

    We end up moving half-way across the country to TEXAS – yeehaw! And Ludwin buys a house all on his own… he ends up doing most of the “baby nesting” and prepares for the home for when Margie moves in.

    All seems like we were destined for family bliss until the cost of mortgages and regular monthly bills became too heavy for our newly single-income household. Margie began to secretly purchase groceries on a credit card to give the illusion that all was fine. Until one day, all the debt came to the light and we decided to sell our new home and get rid of debt and live within our means.

    It’s less than a handful of years into our marriage and already we had experienced a lot and it doesn’t stop there… so listen to this episode and catch the next one as well as we share our journey from Homeownership ➡️ Debt ➡️ Debt Free ➡️ Homeownership ➡️and then BANKRUPT.

    In this episode we share how we had Tornados appear in our dreams & how God was using this to prepare us for a hard upcoming season.

    We had taken some "not-so -smart" financial decisions that led.to big consequences 😭😭. Yet despite our foolishness, God was there (thank you Jesus) & He walked with us. He corrected us, yet comforted us, & protected us through it all.
