In my off-season summer sabbatical, I spent a lot of time alone. I said no to a lot of opportunities, plans, and people.
I chose instead focused on the essentials, my family, my work, and most importantly myself.
I dug deep into wounds I didn’t think needed healing, I recovered from burnout in my real estate career, remembering what I stand for, believe in, and what has always been most important to me.
My design and staging business was really taking off but it was during this time that I realized that growth came a cost and I wasn’t quite equipped to handle it in the situation I was in at the time.
In my solitude, I’ve been able to realign and come to the very important knowing that when a door closes a million windows open. When we’re able to practice non attachment and truly surrender to a door closing, that’s when the floodgates can finally open.
During my off season I honestly contemplated quitting and leaving it all behind for something easier, something that didn’t require me to face reality to level up, start over again, or heal those old wounds I didn’t even realize needed healing.
But that’s not who I am and that’s not what I want. I have more work left to do, More lives left to change, and more beautiful spaces left to create.
I’m back and ready to be your guide, your muse, and your light.
Welcome back to the podcast and welcome home my friend. I'm so glad you're here.
